You would have a more accurate reading if the sensor was put in line on the return line. If you just run a "T" in line and a tube up it is a dead end and and may not flow the coolant up the tube like it would if it were passing over the sensor............. :beer:

The fins should cut down on the internal votexes that are created when the air goes through the carbs. They are supposed to make the air flow smoothly through............. :beer:

When you change to say PWK or other aftermarket carbs they don't use that stupid cross-over tube. So personally I think it is a way for Yamaha to compensate for one cylinder that may not be moving as much air as the other side to rob a little air off of the opposite side. I would be little leary putting exhaust plugs on the cross-overs to block them off. If they happen to vibrate loose and leak they would suck sand in and destroy your motor............. :beer:

Funny you should mention that, Jeff said that when they put my cub together the same wire you are talking about was nearly cut in two. So he fixed it and made sure it wouldn't happen again............ :beer:

The higher the compression, the more pressure pushing down on the piston when it fires and gives you more power and torque. When you get up above say 155-160 you need to run race gas to keep the motor from detonating and getting to hot.............. :beer:

Yeah, I've been diving for twelve years and have never had any problems with them. I have seen a lot of them and with their teeth, they look really nasty. But unless you are a small shiny fish you really don't have anything to worry about............. :beer:

We bought my sixteen year old a warrior and she loved it, and at the same time my youngest one was only nine and she rode it too. I had to turn the throttle screw down to not allow full throttle until she was ready. Now my little one is now twelve and she uses the warrior will full control, and does great. I thought it was a good idea to keep the bigger bike and let her use it than it was to go out and buy a smaller quad and then have to sell it and buy a bigger one. She also got used to the wieght and handling of the larger bike and knows how to ride really well now. So I figured maybe you could jump up to the warrior with the throttle choked down and then upgrade it when they are ready. Just a thought :beer:
