  1. Thats the age old question, +4 or +6. Some say go with the +6 and they ae still dune-able, but other's say that turning a +6 is hell. Yet others say go with the +4 because they are dune-able and allow you to drag, but you can't let off with a w.o.t. launch. Then there is the other crowd that says that you can do either one, but you have to gear it right and get the right paddles.............. :beer: I can't decide......................... ::

  7. Hey dajogejr, I've talked to you a few times and Jeff is building me a set up exactly what you have, so I am really, really curious as to how it performs. You did change your swinger though which changes things a bit. I don't just drag so I was leaning towards the +4, because the +6 I've heard was a biotch to turn for duning, which I do most (60-65%) of the time. I was thinkin' around a 9 paddle with a 70 inch roll out. I also have the dial-a-jet set up because my riding areas are so extreme, so let me know how that works out..............thanks man :beer:

  11. Thats one good reason they have sponsors, is so when they tear things up they don't have to pay to fix it. That is also a major reason they have to rebuild their bikes every season, and sometimes more than once. My .02 is get the right equipment and use it for what it was intended to do and you won't have as many problems.................. :beer:
  12. The extra cc's that are inside an adaptor has little affect on the amount of pressure that is built up in a tester. If you are at around 115-120 with 18 cc domes I think you have other problems that you have to look at. Reeds maybe leaking, air leak, head not properly torqued, etc...... :beer:

  16. Well welcome to the HQ man. If you are doing a lot of jumpin' and bumpy areas,then you may want to work on your suspension. Then once you get used to ridin' it, then you can go for the go fast goodies, reeds, filter, pipes, heads, carbs, etc. it is going to be very addictingso I hope your bank account is on steroids .................. :beer:

  19. Well here goes most species of moths are nocturnal, but there are certain types that are considered crepuscular and diurnal species, which means they will come out in daylight as well as night. Moths are attracted to light, or more specifically, are known to circle bright objects. People really are not sure why they have this behavior and it is not known what causes it. Some people believe that moths navigate by maintaining a constant angular relationship to a bright celestial light like the moon, but when they encounter a brighter artificial light nearer to them than the celestial body they will navigate towards that. So when they maintain this constant angle to the light, they fly in a spiral patern until they hit the light source. So, bottom line is that is why we think they are out at night around lights................... Hope that helps :beer:

  21. Then get in touch with dlnoss and get a red head, or paint it to look like the rest of your motor and still get the performance out of it. The NOSS head has a lot better flow and larger water passages than stock ones do. I personally would put the money towards the NOSS and ditch the stocker, just for performance alone. Spray all hoaky like and people probably won't think anything of it. :baseball_sleep:
