The regular clutch's slip when you have a lot of horse power. The lock-up or lock-out clutch's attach to your basket and you use your existing clutch stack. The lock-up has six weighted arms that centrifugal force pulls them out and puts more force against the clutch stack and does not allow it to slip. The faster the bike revs the harder the lock-up pushes against the clutches and put all your power to your rears............ :beer:

It is not going to hurt anything, but it is damn expensive if you don't need to run it. Usually people run race fuel if they have high compression motor's 165 or more. The higher octane stops the motor from detonating, plus it does burn slower so the internal temp will be lower, but check your compression anyway. :beer:

Lee, I have an idea, look for an older shee that is in pretty good shape and buy it. Then do a long term raffle for members, kinda like they do at car shows. HQ members can buy raffle tickets, and the money that you get in for the raffle tickets can pay for the shee. Once you break even, then start using the raffle money to buy performance or bling parts from HQ sponsors and build a sweet ride. When it is all finished then it can go to one lucky winner, for the price of a raffle ticket, or as many as they want to buy. With the amount of members on the HQ you should have a sweet promotional "Banshee HQ" Shee in no time. Plus, there can be a thread with a progression of this is what we started with to everytime a part is added a new picture will be posted. Just a thought........... :beer:

I got a set of Gecko's back when I first bought my Shee and I don't think that they are that bad. However, I know a lot of people don't like them, and they usually run Hauler's or whatever. But then again I have never had any other straight paddles, so I really don't have anything to compare it to. I think when I get my Cub back I am going to get a set of 9 paddle hauler's due to more power...............

That looks pretty good, and the sanding is a lot like the prep work for a paint job. The final look will depend on how well you prepare the surface............... :beer:

:beer: Reading his sig. it says that he already has a fast clutch with three HD springs, so maybe try all three for less slippage. You should get a lock-up. In the long run it will save you some green................. :beer:
