I am skeptical on the T-5'ed banshee takin' the Raptor's and 450's. I will definately call Bullshit on the 6K Raptor bein' a close race with a piped only banshee. Even if he was a really shitty rider it should still stomp a basically stock shee with that kind of motor work. Either that or he needed to go slap the $hit out of his builder, and ask him what he was thinkin'. The Raptor 700's are pretty damn fast and the 450's are just as fast if not faster. Ya, know the first thing that went through my mind was, instead of runnin' WOT for ten minutes to get to work. I think leavin' the house a little earlier would have saved me a lot of time with the shee and a lot less abuse. Ya might check with any friends that run long haul freight truck. If they are goin' in the same direction as the bike needs to go maybe they can put it in the back of the trailer for you and drop it off. A friend of mine hauled some crap to Southern California in the back of the truck he was drivin' and it saved be a LOT of money in shipping costs.............. :beer:

I've watched guys go up those hills and some of them are pretty hairy. I don't have anything like that around here though, so I've never tried it. The steapest that I have been on is how steap nature can pile sand before it sloughs off under its own weight............. :yelrotflmao:

I do the same thing, dip it over, and over in gas and squeeze it out. then let it dry then coat it with oil again............... :beer:

I touched my leg on my T-5's a few times, but nothin' major. I ride with pants on though, so its all good. As far as gettin' the burnt pants off the chrome pipes, use Mother's chrome polish and lots of elbow grease. I mean lots of elbow, and rub, and rub, and rub and about 3-4 hours. At first it didn't look like it was coming off then all of a sudden some disappeared, so I kept going. After a few hours it all came off without scrathin' the pipes. Have patients and it will come off............. :beer:

Ya, It costs a lot more than you first start out thinking, but then you are already committed so then you need to scoot up to the bar and drink with the big dogs. The clutch was upgraded, the swinger needed lengthening, new carrier, longer chain, new sprockets, larger carbs, boots, pods, bearings, pipes, domes. Just make sure you do your homework, because I already anticipated all this but if you aren't prepared for it you shee may be down for a while 'til you get more green. :beer:

Well I'll throw in my .02. I have been runnin' AV100LL for a while now and I have not had any problems. I talked to Jeff and he told me that if I run AV 100LL then I can run higher compression, but don't need to go with race fuel. I mainly run it because race fuel is $5.50 for per gallon and AV gas is $3.75. The AV gas that you get from the pumps at the airport is usually 100 octane, and the LL is for Low Lead, but it still has lead in it........................ :beer:

Like dajogejr stated above if you are tryin' to run the 15t you need more power. Because 48-50 horsies just ain't gonna cut it. I mean the bike will pull that gear it just won't perform like you want it to, and because you will lug at the start line you are going to get spanked even with the same horsepower and similar riders.................... :beer:
