im a souther cali boy..i would have to say gordens well is the best spot around here..its only an hours ride south of glamis but its half as crowded and has some great dunes

i just went into alba today in poway ca..i couldnt believe how small the alba store realy is..im courious to know where all you guys out of california get alba banshee's and alba graphix?

well im in san diego and i saw one today in the traider it was a 97 with very few mods..fmf pipes reeds and a few other small things and the guy was asking $5,700 obo...hell i just bought mine in febuary its a 2004 and i payed 6,000 out the door from motoworld???

hey it could be worse.you guys in N.Y can ride near home you have trails and such that you can ride just by going to the garage starting the bike and take off.(or so it sounds to me) i live in san diego and to ride my bike out here i have to go 60 miles to the nearest place to ride legaly..and even there i get hastled by the U.S border patroll..there is a track right here in el cajon but its $20.00 to ride it and then its only one night a week for quads and if more 2 wheel bikes show up than quads then the quads are out and the 2 wheel bikes get the track. and if i want to ride at the spot 60 miles from here its still kind of a hastle for just a days riding..load the bike in the truck drive over an hour out there and hope the gates are open to the area..it is 3/4 tank of gas in the truck round trip and then banshee gas..its $50.00 just to go ride for a few hours...so i know how you feel about getting hastled about riding..i grew up less than a mile from where i live today and untill i was 15 i could ride all over this town..hell i had a track in the back yard and now if i even start the bike and ride to the end of my street there are 4 cops here by the time i get back to my garage..i say screw these yuppie a**holes that think our riding is bad idea because it disturbs them..we dont ride to disturb people we ride to get away from all the b.s that we deal with every day these jerk off's dont understand it because they refuse to try..what hapened to live and let live..love thy neighbor...its like live and dont bother me and my neighbor is an asshole punk with dirt bikes these days thats my 2 cents i say f**k all you non riding complaining whiner babys..with nothing better to do than bitch about all of us wanting to ride and have fun

i war running the kenda scorpion tire for a long long time and they did great in every thing i rode from sand to hard pack trails and mud..they had great grip in every aspect of riding

i cant wear boots..they just dont feel right to me on a banshee...i just wear a nice comfy pair of VANS..but on my 2 wheel bike i do wear the alpine stars and they are a good fit for me they are comfy and grip well

i have been burning just regular pump gas at a mix of 32 to 1 but i just bought some of the 114 octain racing fuel and ran it 30 to 1 and the bike seems to have been running cooler ans a bit stronger...is it safe to keep running this combo in a still stock banshee??

what year is your banshee??? some of the older ones still get green..i just bought a 2004 in feb...and got red..and im in california..but the dmv has messed up and sent me a red sticker for my dune buggy once too

it depends on the riding you like to do...i would go for the cr125 if you like trails i had a suzuki 125 and it was p.o.s it broke down every other trip..

yeah the new 450 is nice but i found it a bit uncomfortable..the seating seams like you are too high on it like you are already half way over the bars..its just not as comfortable as the banshee where you sit lower into the bike instead of on top of it

why the hell would you want to take a thing of beauty like tha banshee and make it look like a raptor?? maby you are gay and should get rainbow graphics kit on it too..maby some little streamers comming off the handle bar ends and a bananna seat with a sissy bar..and a little bell horn thing too..raptor look an a banshee..thats as bad as buying a rolls royce and putting a vw bug body on it

thats my point the green/ red sticker is registration,,but now the $25 park use fee is in effect and the fact is they are both suposed to pay for the same thing..desert conservation and maintnance..it was said at the very beginning of the park use fees that these moneys would provide upgrades to the camping reas such as public restrooms ond other services in that area..well in the few years that these fees have been collected i have not seen one single thing done to improve the camping areas..how ever i have noticed that the rangers that patroll the areas all have brand new shiny trucks and bikes???? i have been a gordens well local all my life..my first trip out was at the ripe old age of 6 months old, and now that im pushin 30 the only thing i have noticed different is the amount of trash people are leaving behind and the nice new trucks driven by the ranger..where are our fees being used???? and why are we being charged for park use and registration if the money is all suposed to be for the same thing and nothing has been done??

im lookin to get some more out of my banshee and im going to start with pipes..i was looking at the fmf fattys and the dmc 2 into 1 set up..what would get me the best over all performance??

i just bought my first banshee. i rode an 86 250r 3 wheeler for years and i would have to say the banshee is a very comfortable jumper..it dosnt tend to pitch foreward like most quads i have riden and it does have a good suspention systom (stock)..you can awlys upgrade but i would have to say pound for pound the banshee is a great jumper..it was a very comfortable switch for me..my fiancee never rode a day in her life untill this past febuary and she is very comfortable in all aspects on her banshee..jumping,turns, what ever the banshee is a perfect bike for the person that has been riding for years and fort the person that is just starting out( as long asou keep in mind that the banshee has the power to hurt you ans you respect it) as far as reverse..just do like i do reach your feet up and roll it back with the front tires

i grew up on 3 wheels..they are fun as hell..i rode an 86 250r untill feb..of this year and i have noticed alot of difference now that im on a banshee...most of all the banshee dosnt jump the same you dont get the same air as on 3 wheels..the shee you get the distance but the 250r i was getting mass height.. i can see someone getting air like a 2 wheel bike on the right track or jump
