la jolla has been warm with 20 to 30 ft vis lately...water is a cold 70 to 73 and the sharks are out in full numbers if you scuba or snorkel it is a must see

that feeling of hittn a jump be it a man made kicker or a natural dune..there is no drug on the planet that compairs to the feeling of flight on a bike..i look banc at the days of my late teens early 20's and have just one question when i see old photos of me jumping.. what the f*ck was i thinking!!? but i still remember the feeling of flight..i have a photo i might post here of me flying off the back side of TEST HILL landing 3/4 of the way down and i ask again what was i doing.....oh yeah i was getting my fix..some like crack coke or weed i will take flight any day

so i went out riding today at a place i havnt been in a long time..mc cain valley..i couldnt believe all the trash..whats the deal people how hard is it to throw away your beer can paper cups plates and all the other crap out there??everyone wants to bitch about riding spots being closed but damb look around next time you go ride one of these spots..the shit you throw out on the trail will fit right back in the 6 pack rack or in the cooler you had it in on the way out the trail?? WHATS NEXT PEOPLE DO WE HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE RIDING SPOTS SHUT DOWN TO TEACH US HOW TO PICK UP OUR TRASH??? IS GLAMIS OR GORDENS WELL THE NEXT SPOT CLOSED DOWN?? MABY DUMONT??..i might sound like a little bitch but how hard is it to throw away the shit you bring to the places we all like to ride??..it is realy sad but i went out there with a banshee 5 gallons of gas a subway sandwich 1 gallon of drinking water and a 6 pack of coke..i came back with all that plus 2 hefty bags of other trash that i picked up around my truck..it took me less than 15 mins to clen a small area..just think of how long it would take to clean if we all took the same stuff home that we brought in???? HOW HARD IS IT???? PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT???? TREAT IT LIKE YOU WANT TO COME BACK? if everyone would just take 3 more pieces of trash out than they brought in i bet the people trying to close down our riding spots would stop the bitching and quit trying to kick us out..

even though i didnt know this man my heart goes out to the family left behind..as a medic my self its awlys a loss when we lose one of our own.. many thanks go out to him and his family..it takes a real man to do the job he did..many many people are still here today for his efforts, and for that we should all be greatfull..firefighters paramedics and emt's are a rare breed and without them we would not have many of the people places and things we all love and enjoy today..

im going to be getting a twist throttle for the bandhee..just wanted to know if anyone has put one on and how hard was it to do...do you have to drill out the carbs??

right now the leopard sharks are mating in la jolla (san diego) that is awesome to see there are thousands of them here i have been out diving like 4 times sence they got here its truly an awesome feeling to be in the water with all those sharks..wich by the way are harmless

was just woundering if anyone has riden the el cajon track?? im thinking of taking the banshee out and starting to race in the motocross type stuff...i have done desert races but never on a motocross track setting...anyone have tips advice or any info that might help??

ive heard conflicting reports..is he dead or in a coma??? either way it sucks..his bikes were among the best and the style was his own no one could take over and do any bike close to his designs..

i had the head light fluid run low on my banshee, man what a mess..it ended up killing the muffler bearing and all the exaust grease leaked out then the flux capasiter stoped fluxxing and the air filter bearings ceased and fell abart right into the carb and broke the resivour for the choke fluid..what a mess that caused it blew the choke resivour in to the air breaks and now the break pads dont hold grease any more

weddings are great...you get to see your buds life as they know it come to a crashing end...then the hook you up dinner free alcohol and brides maids..hell yeah..who could ask for more

dmv might have messed up...but then again maby not..my nephew just got a suckzuky drz 110 and he got green..and my friends kid got a ktm 50 and he got red?? both bikes are kid size and both are getting different stickers?? they were bought a week apart and they both 4 stroke?

i like yamalube for my bike and i mix between 28 to 32 to 1 depending on the gas..for straight pump gas 32 maby 34 to 1..but if i decide to buy racing fuel i run it at 28 to 1.....golden spectra is ok oil too

anyone in san diego?? im lookin to find new people to ride with..the guys i do most of my riding with are all turning religious on me..not that i have a problem with that but enough is enough..im not going to the dunes for a 2 hour church service every saturday and sunday morning im going to ride..

so i laying in bed last night tossing turning and just flat out frusterated cuz i am going through dunes with draw so i say f** IT IM GOING TO GORDENS WELL!!! so i did i woke the fiancee up told her to get dressed and meet me in the truck..with in 15 mins of deciding im going i was on the road headed for the gas station.got her bike in the truck mine on a trailer 2 gas cans some oil and riding gear..didnt even bring food just figured i would stop and grab a couple burgers from mc donalds or something on the way..so i get to gordens well at like 4:30 am un load the bikes and we are off..not a person out there but her and I so we ride for a couple hours go back to the truck for our cold cheese burger breakfast and back out to the dunes we rode untill 11:00 and back again to top off the tanks thinking we would ride from gordens well to glamis.. no big deal we ride it all the time..well as we get back to the sand highway and i can see my truck i also see the B.L.M rangers right by my truck..to make a long story short he gave me hell for 45 mins because i have red stickers on both bikes and its not the right time of year to be riding out in the dunes with red stickers..he didnt say a damb thing about me not stopping at the toll thing and not paying the $25.oo day use fee just that i had red sticker and cant ride there...so i ask him to show me in writing where it sais gordenswell is closed for the summer..he pulled out some hand book that states that from april 30th to october 30th glamis gecko and buttercup valley are all closed to bikes with red stickers?????so we decide its not worth the big fat ticket he was going to give me and we packed it up and left..they also didnt say a thing about the fact that i had a hefty bag filled with trash that i collected from out there and was packing out more trash than i brought in...but i have one question thaat i need some help answering...we pay the green or red sticker fees wich are good for 2 years in california,,but you are telling me that we can only ride from october to april????that is 6 months a year why do we have to pay for the entire year if the sticker isnt good but half the time?? am i just a big bitch or are we getting scrued here

all we want is the FREEDOM OF CHOICE to ride and enjoy our bikes..i cant speak for N.Y. but like i said before i used to be able to ride any where i wanted and now i have to drive 60 miles from home to ride?? why is it that we can ride bmx bikes in the park and in the streets using city property as a place to ride, and skaters can grind the hell out of the city property using planters curbs hand rails and other things to skate and eventualy destroy??? is it just me or is the focus on the wrong group here..i got nothing against kids riding bikes or skating but they do fu*k up city property and we just ride in the dirt and on trails??? JUST WHAT ARE WE DESTROYING AND WHO ARE WE HURTING HOW MUCH MONEY DO WE COST THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN A YEAR TO FIX WHAT WE BREAK???? you dont see me grinding my banshee down a hand rail in front of the mall or grinding it across a planter at the liabrary but yet im the one causing the problem??

they do look like they might break.. how ever i just bought a set of risers for a ktm 85 today and they are strong as could be..you might look at the dennis kirk web site and see what risers they offer dennis kirk

if you told them to tear into it anf find or fix the problem then they should have put it back together and there is no reason they should have charged you to take it apart 2 times unless you told them to fix the problem then they should charge for fixing it not playing games with it
