21 broken bones, torn ligaments in shoulder,knocked out 3 times, oh yeah that all happened on bicycles going 15 mph...i have taken my 6th gear tumble on the banshee..i was flyin through the dunes wide open 6th gear and slambed right into a witches eye..that was a prety hard tumble i was dazed and confused for a long time after that...but it didnt turn me into a pussy and make me worry about eatin it when i ride..its going to happen sooner or later to every person th set foot on a bike..you will crash its a fact of riding such a fast high performance machine like the banshee..just ride who cares about crashing high speed low speed crashing sucks. just ride and when yours is due you will get it no matter what.

ok let me re fraise here a bit...i have 20 g's in the account with no plans for it exept to save.but im at the point where if it takes it all to build a reliable banshee monster i will do it. i dont drag at all its not my thing but i live to dune ride and im realy liking the racing thing right now.

HELL NO DONT RIDE IT!!! if you want to get hurt then yeah by all means go ride it..if your shock is broken then your wheel is just flopping around in the wind..i would try to get it fixed through works depending on the age and warantee if any..but if not your best bet for the money is to find a good deal on a new front end..a arms shocks the whole deal..do you have extended arms or stock? precision concepts has some good deals on the whole kit and alba has a smokin deal..i got a arms +2 and some mid grade elka shocks (no rezzie but can add) break lines the whole kit for $930. out the door..

i found this stuff called water wetter by red line..if you ride in a place were it gets hot i highly recomend picking this stuff up..it kept my bike way way cooler than coolant ever did. it runs $10 a bottle and u just use it in place of antifreeze or your regular coolant..add 3 0z to a gallon in your radiator and you will run much cooler than ever before

were looking to for a volinteer pit crew for next season in the southern cali,district 38..we also want some riders who want to join a brand new racing team with zero budget..there is no money to help with anything no sponcers nothing to make it worth your time but the fact that you get to ride or wrench.about the only benifet is that i will buy the beer at the races.we do have one shop that is working with us to get some kick ass prices on parts and service for the bikes but thats it. what were looking for in the pit area is just someone to gas us up and maby do a tire here and there during the races..as far as riders we need at least 1 more quad rider (with your own bike) and a couple motorcycle riders.2 stroke 4 stroke dosnt matter..only thing is you must be 18 and want to do this for fun only there is no money to pay..(yet) we want to put together a team that will eventualy want to go on to do baja races..500 and 1000 in the future.. i know this sounds like im a cheap skate but the reality is that its going to be a brand new team and there is just nothing to make it worth your time exept some fun and a passion to ride..there might be some money in the future but to be 100% honest it will depend on how well we do as a race team.we will provide some free stuff like team stickers and maby tee shirts down the line but were waiting to get the team together first

hey man im all about the night riding trips over summer i just went to gordens well saturday night and plaster city the weekend b4..im in san diego (el cajon) hit me up im awlys down to ride i have a few local spots we can hit for a short day run too..some secrete spots and private land too..im down to go any time just give me time to get the banshee in the truck and grab some gas and im ready

ok im a southern california boy..where is litle sahara? and how are the dunes out there? i ride gordenswell 99% unless im racing superstition or plaster city. who is down for a HQ trip to gordens well in november??? i go every other weekend from november to april..then the rest of the year i do night trips when its too hot in the day..if you are down to do a night ride lem me know..

im sure this topic has been posted a million times but here it is again..im building a 2004 shee i have pipes and throttle put on already (fmf fatty ans motion pro twist) but here is the deal im going to be using this banshee for racing baja type races and for fun in the sand dunes.so i want to get the best of both worlds out of it,i want to be able to go from the dunes and take the paddles off put on the knobbies and race the hard desert terrain .now here is the kicker i have almost $20,000 set aside to do this..what i am looking for is some input..what would you do to a banshee for this purpose if you were building it? keeping the reliability of the bike is a must though..she is a 1 kick wounder right now and i dont want that to change..it must be 1 kick 1 start.ok hq members help me build a killer banshee..this bike is going to enter baja 1000 in the next 2 years

i didnt know you could go any thing less than balls to the wall 6th gear haulin ass..i think if i rode any different than hard and fast my shee would break..i ride it like i stole it 100% of the time..i mean come on if you dont scare yourself then why are you on a banshee..just go get a 4croke and put around camp with the kiddys

i got fmf fattys v force reeds and 15/40 gearing and my shee is plenty faster than a tank like that

alba alba alba...they have a kit it is a arms (pro comp..built by epic) elka or works shocks your choice.brake lines everyting you need to install the kit for $930 out the door..goto the web site its albaaction.com..the lowest i saw a kit any where like this was on ebay and it was $1500. precision redid my stock rear for $300. and its now re buildable for like $50-60 and its set for your weight and riding area..thats about the best deal i found

im 100% up to test for you..i got a stock swing arm..i ride 99% dunes. i was born and raised at gordenswell. andi ride the dunes 12 months a year..i just did a night run last night..and im doing another one saturday night..get back to me if i can help.i will do it fore sure

i posted a topic here asking what pipes would be faster i got alot of feed back saying get the t 5's..i already own the t6's but the answer to the guestion is as follows..the banshee with the t6's also had boysen reeds and other than thats it.the gearing is stock 14/41..now the banshee with fmf fattys and power core 2's is geared 15 40..the fmf banshee ate the toomey banshee for lunch..

ims sells one ans it runs about 225 ball park..i tryed motoworld and they mark it up sky high..but then again motoworld is a rip off in the first place...check ims or parts unlimited...or you can call my place i get parts from its called california motor sport center (CMC) they have the best prices around..619-258-5613.

i am thining of getting the 5.6 gallon tank for my sheei was woundering if the extra weight when full is an issue with handleing? i ride 90% sand dunes but im just getting going in racing too

they need to just put a 500cc 2stroke motor in the banshee. add long travel suspension piped jetted the works...and then offer upgrades from there stroker motor,drag set up,race ready,everything we are doing to our banshees should come stock as a package deal..like alba..the alba banshee comes ready to go, pipes jets reeds, up graded bars for like $300 more than a bone stock banshee from motoworld..dont stop making the banshee start to work on it even harder
