  1. not sure about the jetting, but with the +4stroker I dont think your motor will get enough fuel with a single 35mm carb, might want to get 2 35mm carbs.
  2. bs to a banshee beating a raptor? u sure?
  3. bay area here. holister, carnegie, pismo. anyone know any other spots in cali to ride? all i know of is glamis than the other ones listed.
  4. it says 2004-2005.
  5. go to the junk yard, grab some stuff, start building
  6. same. that game is too adicting.
  7. thats a pretty cool bike.
  8. banshee hands down. i rode a piped raptor against a pipes shee, and the shee won. you can keep up for a minute, but the shee just pulls away. raptors take more than just pipes to beat a piped shee, maybe a hotcam and a high comp piston.
  9. anyone know when t5's sign on?
  10. yeah that's what I meant.
  11. did you copy the stock design and just extend? I was just wonderin.
  12. well to hook up better, you dont lengthen your swingarm, you shorten it. you can get your stocker shortened -2 by www.quicksandmotorsports.com for about 130. although its not too good for dragging in the dunes, it will hook up like crazy in the dirt, and still be real good in the dunes and for jumping (except for dragging in the dunes ) . alot of people on the hq have -2 swingarms and love it, they say you wont regret it.
  13. im not a know it all but you need porting to make up for the added stroke. w/o stroker porting its basically useless, you wont get the full potential of your stroker. i really dont think a mx port will get the full potential out of your stroker either. your machine will need larger carbs and bigger intakes with the stroker. you will also have to cut 2mm off the top of your head, or have 2mm cut into a pair of domes for an aftermarket head. you might get some power increase but not alot. a member on here did the same thing your thinking about, except he had larger carbs w/ no porting. you can do it and just save up for some stroker porting and bigger carbs. oh and by the way that kit on ebay isnt a 4mm stroker crank, its a +5mm long rod crank. 5mm long rods are susposed to increase the realiability of your motor, but I dont think its needed for a 4mm stroker.
  14. welcome to the hq! if you cant find some headlights on the hq you can always check on ebay, they've always got deals for somethin goin. as for the bumper, ditch the stock look and get a nice lookin aftermarket bumper. again, many deals on ebay for banshee bumpers.
  15. yes those are names that you hear the most on here. im not saying gorr and passion are the only ones, theirs A&S racing, GRR, Patriot, CT, Trinity. Maybe people prefer gorr and passion for it's excellent quality at a fair price, and also their service. not everyone on this forum chooses gorr and passion, but it's a name that you do hear often. just my .02
  16. i've heard of it, some of my friends do it. I dont know if u actually get payed though.

  18. i believe Minkia38 ran fmf silencers with PTR mids on one of his banshees.
  19. building a stroker will definately cost more than 800 . stclark highly recommends a Eric Gorr port. Best bang for your buck at 200. he ran toomeys with his port job and says it ran awsome. i would get the eric gorr woods port, stock carbs bored out to 28mm, some new pistons, and a noss machine head.
  20. do you know if they make low end pipes? They have a mid-top pipe and another set of twin pipes, im asuming they are low-mid but not 100% sure.
  21. found some dyno port twin pipes for sale on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43972
  22. all i know of are IMS and Clark
  23. man that's a pretty big list of things to check for , but i bet its all worth it.
  24. i seen a all blue banshee with a blue frame, it looked pretty cool. I think the member name was schizo. the yellow would look nice definately. if not yellow, you can always go with a black frame.
