  1. well where do u ride? thats is the best way to tell you what pipe to get.
  2. holy snikes
  3. it's good to hear that he's ok man, dunno what BHQ would be like w/o him
  4. ok. because I mostly ride woods, trails, and hills. i ride with 2 banshees, 2 yfz450's,a z400,a 450r. right now im ridin a 4 stroke and wanted to get a 2 stroke. banshee was the first option, but I wanted to try another quad. only other quad I had in mind was a 250r. I found most of the engine and frame problems, like little stuff that can be easly fixed my replacing/maintinence. counter balancer, a-arm and shock bushings, swingarm bolt, axle bearings. I mean it is possible to make the banshee a trail machine, and I love the power, just having a hard time deciding.
  5. if your looking into how to cut them, check out this thread. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=42574&hl=turf
  6. i heard the Dr.D pipe won the yfz450 pipe shootout, out of 12 different pipes.
  7. why u sellin the hybrid? if i had the money i'd buy it man. it's basically a yfz450 with a 250r frame.
  8. i was reading some posts on the forums a while back from the SoCal fabshop thread. i seen the people that did the 250r front geometry to the banshee. I was interested in it because everyone knows the banshees dont handle well. only thing i dont like about it is that you gotta pay for the frame fabrication and a long travel setup, and thats quite alot of money. what im thinking, is it possible to modify a banshee frame w/o having to spend extra money on long travel? i was thinking this by just rakeing the front end but not narrowing it. what i mean by rake is just like 250r frame, how the front is angled going upward. does anyone know if it would be possible to rake the front end of a banshee that it would handle better?or would you have to narrow it also. because I think that is a reason the 250r handles so well. the 250r being narrow just alows it to have long travel, so not having the narrow front for LT and just the rake in front I was thinking to myself would it work? I dont know how many inches you would have to angle the front end, 2-3 off the ground?
  9. well i wouldnt say not many people run them. the 2 into 1 pipes are susposed to have kickass low end, for trails ,XC, and MX. i dont know why your pipe would be running like that because it was made for low end. maybe it being beat up is a reason that it isn't performing right. is it possible to post a picture of its condition? and have you oppened up the motor to see what u got inside?
  10. pro design air filter, pipes, then coolhead. u dont need reed spacers, they dont increase your performance. they are only used to space larger carbs back a little from the clutch cable arm. i would definatly look into some reed cages though after you get the basic mods.
  11. i believe frocashmoney24 used to have some on his banshee. i figure it would be best to talk to him about those a-arms.
  12. people sell stupid stuff on ebay nowadays. 14yr old cheese, lol. i bet people just bet on it on purpose.
  13. arent their alot of things on the 250r's you gotta watch out for though? im trying to figure out wether to get a banshee or a 250r, and having a hard time deciding.
  14. get a full yosh exhaust
  15. you hit it on the head. on the raptors (most likely all 4 strokes) not everything is susposed to be tightened up in the engine, they have like certain tightening specifications for everything. Thats why I dont like 4 strokes, they require more engine maintenance. on a banshee, probly just check the compression, change the spark plugs, change the oil, and grease stuff up. on 4 strokes, you gotta do valve adjustments and all this other crap.
  16. yeah it's interesting how just pipes and a air filter open err up alot
  17. sent. no problem
  18. I have to do the same on my quad, im 6'3
  19. I it in .jpg form but cant upload it. i will email it to you.
  20. alright. i just wasnt sure. thanks for correcting that.
  21. your susposed to true and weld the crank when you get the cylinders ported. if your jugs are stock, than its not nesecary.
  22. toomey. i heard lots of good things about their blaster pipe.
  23. i'd go with loco, get some rockets man. you can see he's kickin some ass with them on his videos. also, if your for torque, i wouldnt get shearers. on a dyno they performed the least torque out of every pipe, which is maybe why they are drag pipes only.
  24. well they will definately ride better along with stability of the quad, because its real wide. definatly get some if u dont have any. alot of people recommend Quicksand A-arms (Website). they are strong, and for a good price. if your looking into some extended a-arms, you should also get some new front shocks so the quad will ride better.
  25. damn thats crazy. i hear now that phone companies even charge minutes for incoming and outgoing calls that u dont even answer or talk.
