  1. Could someone please tell me what the sugnificance of TORS are and why people remove them?
  2. Ok, so I pulled the carbs off my 89 banshee and noticed that only one carb has a idle adjustment screw, and one carb doesnt. and for some reason, in the mid-range RPM's (3rd and 4th gear) the motor acts like it wants to die out and acts like it runs on one cylinder. Could it be the reeds? what could be causing this, thanks.
  3. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure what MM my carburetor is, I know there stock, and its a 89 banshee. Thanks.
  4. I run a stcok air box, stock filter, and Dg twin Pipes
  5. I just purchased a 89 banshee and for some reason it bogs out bad in 3rd and 4th gear, but 1,2,5,6 it will run strong and want to go over backwards. I was wondering if it could be something to do with my air/fuel ratio, i know it has the stock Mikuni's on it, and i was wondering if any knew how much i should back the screw off?? 1 1/2 turns?? 2 turns?? 1 turn?? i run br8es plugs, and also run premium gas through her, what could be my problem??
  6. what will happen if you dont run premium in your banshee??? hypotheticly speaking, will it run like shit?? I mixed my banshee at 32:1 and run BR9ES plugs, are those to hot of a plug?
  7. What would happen if i decided to run 40:1, lean it out quite alot, Do you think that would blow up the motor? And what kind of plug do you run in your banshee, i think BR9ES is too hot of a plug
  8. Hey Guys, Im new to the Yamaha banshee, i recently purchased a 1989 banshee, its bored .50 over and has twin DG pipes. For some reason its spits and sputters and almost acts like it is firing on one cylinder when i am going up through the gears. It does it real bad through 3-4, but 5-6 are ok. I decided i would take the air filter off it and give it a good cleaning, but that didnt work. i then decided to run it without the air filter, and that solved the problem, or atleast most of the problem, still bogs out some, but not nearly as bad as it did with the filter. I am also running it 32:1 and i dont know if that it too lean. I am also running NGK BR9ES plugs, can you guys please help me with my problems, thanks alot, Mopar 440
