nice man! what did you use to polish it? I cleaned my case halfs really nice last time I had it tore apart. I took a 30gal bucket and filled with diesel and put one case half in at a time and shook the hell out of the bucket. It cleaned them up real nice. No fancy polish finish, be there wasn't a speck of oil or grime or anything on them. The other thing I use when I am cleaning parts is an air gun for painting, I just fill the hopper with diesel instead of paint. Works great. You get nice air pressure behind the spray. I wouldn't mind polishing my stuff like yours though.

Huevos 3 has a few clips of a guy on a red banshee doing some nice pond skimming.

Just get a pair of "huge bitch" panty hose and stretch those fuckers over your entire airbox without the lid. Sha-Bam! Oh yeah, you have to have a clamp on filter...

How about a contest for the crappiest looking banshee. That way whoever wins could use the freebie parts to make his/her banshee a better ride. I know I have some old banshees out behind our barn that would be pretty good candidates, and I just never work on them cause I can't afford to buy parts for any of them right now. I'm pretty sure they would all run, but they are missing some misc. parts here and there. One needs jugs, another needs a radiator, one frame has a cracked shock mount I need to gusset. I think an ugly banshee contest would be good. No one likes to look at ugly pics of girls, but I know we can all find simpathy for an ugly banshee.

The exhaust port wasn't touched. What tool would you use for evening them up? I would probably prefer to have a professional do it. Can some of you post pics of your intake ports so I can get an idea of where I want to go with these.

Where do you all recommend sending them to get fixed? They aren't dirty, the black stuff is just the original black finish that is still inside. The other one looks pretty much the same way. How much is a decent port job?

I had a jeep cherokee in high school that me & some friends bought just to beat the hell out of. We didn't change the oil in it for 13,000 miles and when we finially did it was in decent shape still. We figured it was some high end synthetic crap the previous owner put in it. We ran that thing till it blew up two years later. It was a beast.

I just got some new jugs off ebay, and the listing didn't say anything about them being ported. I got them and checked them over, seem to be pretty good but I'm not too sure of the port job done on them. Looks like someone took their dremel to them. Check out the pic and let me know what you all think. $100 for both of them, found them listed under lawn mower parts, and the guy just didn't know what they were. lol. They appear to be bored about 60 over. I got a deal.

what mods are done to them? are you changing from winter air to summer air in your tires every year? How about your exhaust bearing, did you replace that on both machines? Don't forget your twin over cam modulator gear hub, you need to adjust those after every ride.

My entire banshee is black. The seat, plastics, frame, wheels, motor. Some day when I have more money I am going to get chrome parts for the engine. I think it would be really sweet looking.

We do the same thing here in wyoming. I love to shoot those little shits. We actually made some small explosives one time (gasoline/potassium permanganate, napalm(gas/styrofoam/M-80) and some small PVC pipe bombs) and chucked them into the little communities. There was one stupid one that went running up to one of the gasoline/potassium bombs and was checking it out (ifyou don't know, gasoline and potassium permanganate make concussion explosives, so to set them off we shoot them) my buddy shot it and it blew that thing into the air about 4 or 5 feet. It kicked ass.

I'm in WYO and I just had some kid that was going to WyoTech take my frame down to their autobody shop there and they powerder coated it jet black for me. I love it.

The Z400 is a 4-stroke anyway, so its gonna be crap no matter how much you bore it out and no matter what cam you put in it. You can get so much power out of a two-stroke for so much cheaper than you can a four stroke. Its almost retarded. Retarded in a good way though.

Would it work to hook up the nitrous injector nozzles to the boost bottle on top of the reed manifolds? Or would it be better to hook it up somewhere between the carbs and reeds? I got a nitrous system for a honda from my buddy for like $250 with everything that was on the honda. All the relays and everything. I am trying to think of ways it might be ghetto rigged for a banshee. Definitely going to need some smaller jets. lol. Put the same jets that are meant for a 2.0L inline 4 on a banshee engine. Ha Ha Ha It would probably go like greased lightning for about 2 seconds. If I can't think of a way to stick it on the shee, its going on the Jeep Cherokee. That thing has 246,000 miles on it and I don't really care if I blow that thing up. I figure I will take it down to walden and just romp on it till it explodes. Do the factory nitrous kits out on the market have some kind of fancy manifold they use or what?

I like to make snow men in the winter time and get a fast run at them on my shee. I don't think I would every do that shit with a REAL person though. At least with a snow man, I am the only one who can get hurt, and its my own fault.

I work at a phone survey place, and we have been doing surveys on the bush/kerry election for like the past 3 or 4 weeks. We are calling all 50 states and just doing surveys on what people think. I'd say about 80% of the people I have talked to so far (lots and lots and lots) are voting for bush. I don't know what the percentages are for the other people that work there, but that seems to be what I'm finding out. I just hope kerry doesn't get elected. That's bad news.

I saw a similar thing at walden dunes one time. Some guy was on a three wheeler trying to do this hill climb and he got like half way up and the thing flipped over backwards on him. Some dude came flying up the same line through the trees right behind him and had to hit the brakes to miss him. Some people helped the 3 wheeler kid move his stuff off the trail so people could keep comming up. When he finially got it back down to the bottom, the same guy who had to hit the brakes behind him the first time ran right into the kid T-Bone style. Broke his leg and fucked up the kids three wheeler. You could tell it wasn't an accident. The guy was going straight for him, and had plenty of room to stop, but he just gunned it. Then he took off after he roosted the kid. Two guys on 250R's chased him down and I don't know what happened. I hope they took his quad away from him and beat him down.

ok, I knew i said I wouldn't post here any more, but couldn't help it. "Secondly, you live in one of the top 10 liberal states in the country. OK, in wyoming we have laws that are referred to as "cattle rustling" laws. If you own a running cattle ranch (which we do) you have the right to "do anything in your power to maintain and protect your livelyhood, if threatened... by, any person or persons that could be considered to be cattle rustling" By said persons TRESPASSING on very very clearly marked PRIVATE property which is considered by the state to be 1. a Cattle Ranch. and 2. a Fish Preserve (which is FEDERALLY Protected) it was within my power to disable said persons vehicle, since it posed a danger to my family's livelyhood since No. 1 he crossed two privately owned streams (which we have original water rights on) wich feed into fish preserves. and No. 2 his intentions could not be clearly established as to what he intended to kill. (cattle, deer, elk, antelope, etc) The case has been taken to court, and the judge ruled in MY favor. I was NOT charged with any type of felony for discharging my weapon. The sheriff who did the initial investigation stated IN COURT that was "within my rights to fire on the defendants vehicle". Additional charges were brought against the person for "attempted contamination of a body of water which is used for or feeds into a fish hatchery, or fish preserve" added to the charges stated in a previous post. You are being pretty silly about all of this. You don't know the entire circumstances of what happened, and are making assumptions. I appologize for any comments I might have made about your skill as a shooter or your intelligence for the calculations you might or might not have made prior to your posts. I think I am done going back and forth with you. I will let you have the last word, so you can feel like you are the winner. lol

I agree with the above, if you have a high power motor, I don't understand why you would want to go shorter. Go with a longer arm so you keep your front end planted. That's just my opinion though.

Lots of things can cause over heating. Check your jetting and make sure you aren't running too lean.

...and I'm not going to post in this discussion any more. I have better things to do than argue with people that don't check their calculations before they post stupid shit.

Oh yeah, and the time it takes for a glock 20 to eject a spent shell and jack a fresh round into the chamber takes longer than 3/10ths of a second. You better go do your math again. Nice try though. Once again... keep dreaming.
