  1. Send an email to bansheezone@verizon.net he will sell you a kit to be welded up. Its that easy.
  2. I am thinking about switching my banshee over to aolchol cause thats what I use in the spint car and with my sponsor ship the fuel is way cheaper than gas so I think I'm going to switch. One this is done do you think it would hurt if I used some of my RC cars nitro aolchol on it. I think the mixture is about 18% which is fairly moderate. I am not gong to run it straight, but with my normal mixure so its not going to be that brutal, but do you think I would notice the increase in power?
  3. I pulled the 240 out of my stock carbs and it wasn't rich when I rode it last year. The RD400 came with 150's in them and I switched them to the 240's that was in my stock carbs. I didn't check the piolt jet though.
  4. They came off a suzuki RD400. They look similar to the stock carbs, but just bigger.
  5. Thats what I was thinking. I am just now installing the new NOSS head with 20cc domes so I will let you know in a few hours what the plugs look like.
  6. I just removed my carbs to clean them and noticed that there was 240 mains in them, Do yall think this is too small for 900FT elevation and 28MM carbs? I have minor port work and slightly bigger carbs ,FMF Pipes.
  7. I am going to try to port my first set of 2 stroke jugs. I have done 4 stroke (car and bike) but never a two stoke. What I am looking to do it enhance the bottom and midrange. Actually a killer mid to upper would be fine. I always ride on the pipe so I wouldn't need much bottom. Right now I am going to open up the intake windows sligtly and taper the bridge. Clean up the transfer ports, What should I do about the cases and the ports on the bottom of the jug. They look real small. I though about rounding those off. I know that everyone here could comment on this so this is why I am asking. I have a .60 over motor, noss head (maybe 20cc)FMF Pipe/silencer,Ported reed cages,28mm mikuni, open air box lid,
  8. Well as for porting I could do it myself if I knew alot about two strokes. I have ported car cylinder heads a few times and the Old XR's that I used to ride I opend the intake for a straighter shot and hogged out the exhaust to match the inlet of the headpipe. I could do these cylinders if I knew where to cut. I'll start another post to see if someone can guide me in the right direction. I have seen a few porting pics on here so I have an idea. Open up the intake windows slighly, taper the bridge. The transfer ports on my cylinder look ok, except of one that I will blend.
  9. I got a twist on it. I have acouple sets of cylinders. I'll mic them in a second I measured these with a dial caliper, Not a bore guage Cylinders I'm running 65.5mm Cylinders I have 64.7/65.05 I think that I'm going to take the smaller ones and match them to 65.5 I got a noss head off ebay yesterday. What domes do you think that I should run.
  10. I am not running a stock head now. You say that make big bore domes? I thought about a port job, I really didn't want to buy new carbs yet. Can I get away with out them for awhile? I know that I won't make peak power until I change them. The stock size is 26mm? Would some 28mm of an 77 RZ400 work? I can make intakes. Have vertical and and endmil.
  11. I am redoing the topend on my bike this month. I just ordered a new cool head. I didn't get the domes cause I was not sure what size I need. I have FMF pipes and silencers (The original fmf pipe) and newer power core 2 i think. I have't looked at it in awhile. I belive that last time I rebuilt I was a .80 and now I think that the scratch is going to take it .100 but I won't know until I get to the machine shop. My elevation here is 923FT I ride mostly woods so low end/mid is what I am looking for. I usually run 92/93 so what cc dome do you think that I could use? When do and what size carbs?
