  1. The old won't start when hot syndrome. I would do a compression test,2 strokes don't like to start when hot if it needs a top end rebuild.
  2. I don't get it,21-1's ?????????????
  3. I bought a set of t-5 about 5 years ago used and they had no bluieing on them at all and as of today there is only some slight goldish colour on them ,wether the t-5's have more chrome or what I don't know,my thoughts were if they are blue your too lean(hot)
  4. come on you banshee brainers give me some help here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I did a clutch installment, been there done that before, some how after a short riding period the nut came off the threaded bolt that goes through the pressure plate and it's no were to be found,is there any possible way for it to get through to the tranny??????????any ideas would be great Thanx
  6. Hey o3bansheele ,I'm not far from you(Millbrook) Give me a discription of your Banshee and I will keep an eye open for you.
  7. Don't know who your thanking, anyways your welcome. It's great to see members come back and thank fellow members for their help I'm sure they really appreciate it. There is members on here that are not thanked enough for their wisdom.
  8. Yea happy birthday Wheaty Are you still alive for another birthday???????????? I agree with you on the postings, he knows his Banshees ,never steered me wrong!!
  9. Yes the two bolts at the bottom and along with the top one have to be loosened to adjust your chain, the two that face towards the back do the chain tightening though. As far as that white dohickey behind the sprocket,it hold something in place in the tranny just can't think what it is at the moment,I'm having a seniors moment. If it has a chain case saver on it ,it would wrap around the front half of your sprocket to fill in the space between the sprocket and the case!!! Those axle bearings can be a bit@* to get out.a good hunk of brass or hard wood will be needed to whale the axle out, then you got to get the bearings out of the housing,I used a long punch and tapped them out,you will know what to use when you get that far.
  10. There is no way that needle should be on the top position. Try it on the middle and try a 300 main, what you got to loose!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and the air screws one and a half out.
  11. Sounds like you may want to check your compression, could be in need of a ring job!!!!!!!!
  12. I would check to make sure you put the slides in the carbs right if you had them out(cut out of slide facing airbox)see if choke tube is in also!! I have much the same modds as you and run a 300 main needle third position and a 25 pilot.
  13. You got a 3rd and a 4th on your first race on a Banshee on your first mx and you want to scrap the banshee, imagine with a few races under your belt you might not be seeing your buddies taillights???? Oh and for the cowey 400 ,there is better out there!!!!! Kiss your 3rd and 4th goodbye on that.
  14. Take all the tension off at the perch first Us your left hand to apply pressure on the arrow at the case while your adjusting with the screw, line the arrows up then put the proper tension on at the perch,
