  1. Can't beat Yamaha FZR600/1000 fibers and you can find them for like $7 a piece, your springs should be fine. Unless your steels are blued, they should be fine. If you don't want to mess w/that, Jeff at FAST sells a nice kit put together for you...
  2. It is harder to find a set of Banshee cases used w/o the chain brake than it is with...... If it doesn't leak you are good to go. Doesn't have to hold pressure or anything.
  3. Dude...7 yrs, fresh motor w/more pep(that you can't feel by the way because your clutch is slipping!)...what's that guys name, Mr obvious, oh yeah LOL. Just messin bro, I'd check your clutch...
  4. Couple times I smoked a clutch before I got a lockup the clutches would slip bad and heat the tranny fluid and make it spew out. Does it feel like it is not quite there? Like it revs, but not quite pulling like it should? Bet that's your problem. If it is your clutch and they have plenty of meat to them, they will be glazed and worthless...
  5. Here is the answer you are looking for. When your slides are closed, the extra airflow does not matter from the open air box, K+N's, etc. The airbox w/lid will allow the same amount to flow through the cutout in your slide, and airscrew adjustment as if it were a wide open airbox. Now if you open those slides wide open, your snorkle has just become a bottleneck. Does this make sense to you or do I need to explain futher? I am not sure people actually read these posts sometimes, I was getting frustrated reading through your post....
  6. Depends on what kinda riding you do and 4 mil what? I can tell you I ran a 4 mil drag ported stock cyl setup on 39PWK's and it ran great for drag racing. For a duner you may want to more look at 35's. I think little better throttle response. If the 38's are already something you have, I say run em!
  7. A lot of experience between the nay-sayers in the replies to your post.
  8. I have never heard of someone cutting a dome to compensate for a long rod. You cut a dome to compensate for stroke and run a different piston w/different pin placement to compendate for the extra rod length. And a cut dome is real obvious...there is quite a step cut into it.
  9. Ask Vito, but he'll prolly tell you his Fat Bastard pipes.
  10. What is a long rod dome?
  11. In the next month or so I will be selling either a Mccoy 10 mil cub or an a+s 10 mill cub. Both setups will have monoblock fully ported, pistons, head, and alky cut domes and will be polished to a mirror finish... I just have to decide which one I want to keep LOL!
  12. Your steels and fibers definately should not stick together
  13. Rich, but prolly in the happy range.
  14. No sir, had a couple jobs to take care of first, but will get them done soon. I will post the pics ASAP. Here is a 450 cylinder I just did.
  15. They are still open. I know their # changed but I don't know it. Email is usually the best way to contact them. I am hearing more and more stories of not being able to contact them...
  16. Sounds like you just have the filter sitting there w/no pro flo adapter?? If so that is no good. No lid is fine, but need a pro flow adapter and K+N or some other clampable aftermarket filter.
  17. It is a pretty common sense issue bud....Clogged filter=no airflow=rich as hell condition=fouled plugs. Your plugs must have been black as hell. And don't ever run a 6 heat range plug again...way too hot.
  18. If I could figure out they are big bore, I'll take em. I have a couple people looking at them...
  19. I didn't see any pics of the SCP's on the website you specified.
  20. Shearers Big or small bore?
  21. Title says it, watcha got?
  22. I'm sorry...Swingarm, top end, pipes, paddles, crank all sold.
  23. I was wondering what you were waiting for.
