top end is brand new i did a chop test and the plugs are mint im runnin 30:1 yamaha lube 2R high octane i live in ottawa but i dono how high i am LOL everything is stock but what my sig says if u need 2 know anything eles let me know

just phone your yamaha dealer and get the timeing marks right on thats what i would do

well i burnt about a takn of gas so far and was wondering cold it will start on the 3rd kick every time run mint as i took it out today for about an hour it an fine but as i pulled into the yard and shut it off and tried 2 start it again it wouldent fire i pulled the choke out and it fired and died (lol on the 3rd kick again) then i kicked it without the choke on and it started and ran mint (purrd like a kitten) just was wondering what could cause this hard 2 start problem any help would be awsom thanks :baseball_bat: Glenn

when a 4 stroke backfires that means its overloading with fuel thus meaning valves maby your vlave need 2 be adjusted try this it might help :ninja: Glenn

if you are a new rider lol start with 1. Pipes 2.Reeds 3.Air filter and mod your air box lid thats a good way 2 start welcom 2 the HQ

well im no pro but............ heres what i would do 1. Air filter (k&N air filter) 2.Shocks (works or elka) 3.set of rear tires (razor or holeshots 20") and if u go the money a set of pipes (fmf or Dg or what ever is a good deal on ebay :baseball_w00t: ) thats about all i can think of p.s and a cub

yup both pistons are at 175 psi and both carbs are opening at the same time float levels are the same lol i dono relly

well i took y carbs and my pipes off 2 do a crank case pressure test and the bottom end held 6psi for 6min Seals are good could it be float hight?????? thanks for the help

nope i just milled the head and put a fresh set of pistons i left the piston clearence at .0024 and it only like over 100 octane thanks for the help Glenn

well a shee should only run on atlesed 100 psi compression so there is yuor problem when u rev it up the left side catches up wit the right and starts 2 burn the fuel so put a new set of pistons and rings and give it a bore

if i were you i wouldent run the 2 filters id stick wit you air bow its good 2 have when u goin in water and iv had 2 motors explode wit the fuckin filters just my 2 cents :ninja: Glenn

what i did was take a thck rubber band andwrap it around where the kick start meets the thinggy that is splind it works awsom no more rattleing for me and cost nothing hope this helps :ninja: Glenn
