well i dont think its because of polution
look at a shee its been the same design from 87
how many people new 2 the sport are gonna buy the banshee u gotta mix the gas
the new 700 is just fill and go
theres alot more options for sport bikes then there was in the late 90
just my opion but more ppl just wanna get on a bike and go
not mix gas and go
plus gas milage on a shitty 4 poke is way better also
i think the only way the shee will stay alive for the future
is yamaha upgrade it but they wont :shoothead:
my buddy dad owens a yamaha deler (wheelsport)
he say 07 is the last year for the shee everywhere :baseball_wibble:
but hey 87-07 fuckin right the shee is the rollin king of sport quad and always be
hmmm welll if your willing 2 spend 2000 look on ebay first here some options i found

well first off befor u even start your new motor get a k@n filter
and either cut your air box lid or get a pro flow system
and for your jets sounds about right but do a run test
let it idel and shut it off check the color
wit a new set of plugs keep it about half throtal shut it off check the color
and wit another set of pluge keep it up in the revs and then with out letting off shut it off
if u got tan color in these 3 steeps your good 2 go :thumb:
thats the way i check my jetting and i havint had a problem
hope this helps :ninja:

well this is what i would look for
1.when it starts up mke sure it is fireing on both pistons(smoke coming out of both silincers when its cold)
2.make sure all bearings and bushings are nice and tight(swingarm bushings and axle bearings a-arm bushings and such)
3.open the air box lid and check what kind of filter there is and see if it is clean (that will tell u what kinda life the bike has had so far)
4. take if for a rip and see if it pulls nice and smooth no chopping under load and keep it reved make sure theres no hesitating (cant spell LOL)
5. look for striped bolts nuts
6. look under the bike and check the frame for dents or major scratches
7 and the normal chain and sprokets bent bars
8. see if it has been greesed!!
well hope this helps :ninja:
