  1. Wish I could make it out there that weekend. We are running over there on Thursday for the day though, so won't be there that weekend.
  2. From what I have heard is they do a horrible job. Go with the Swingarm shop, I just bought one and they are sweet. Very nice product.
  3. Still for sale... $150 shipped, PM or post if interested. Pictures upon request
  4. I have a set of slightly used 20x10x10 10 paddle Hauler extreme paddles. I only have 3 rides on them. I have decided to extend my swingarm and go to a 22" tire. Make an offer. Or trade for some 22x11x10 10 paddle Hauler extremes plus some cash. Feel free to post, or email [email protected] 530-624-8059
  5. I am sorry to say that you are wrong. I talked to Toomey themselves and said the T-6 is solely designed for pipe only set up. The t-5 responds better to porting, if you don't believe me, give them a call.
  6. I would stick with the stock needle. I had t-5's and kept the stock needle. I lost a good amount of bottom to top end with the needle provided with the kit. 280 main should be the right jetting if you have the airbox with the added vents. I would mess with the needle some. You could maybe drop one jet size to a 270, depending on your elevation.
  7. We are for sure going this weekend. I hope to see some people out there Saturday.
  8. Its like any vehicle. If you see pretty much any vehicle running dual exhaust, one side will puff out more smoke when it cold. Its just the nature of engines. No rhyme or reason.
  9. You need to use the flywheel puller to take the flywheel off. To take the flywheel off, remove the center bolt. Thread on the big part of the puller ALL THE WAY IN. Then spin it off with a impact gun. Once that is removed you need to remove the stator. You will see 3 screws holding it one, plus a couple smalle ones that hold the wires in place. Once it is out of the way there are another three bolts that hold the stock stator in place. Remove it and install the new one. The tic marks on the timing need to line up with the split in the case (white line). Then tighten it up and reinstall the stator. Put the fly wheel on and crank it down. All done.
  10. I'm glad you are enjoying you shee. I once had the T-6 pipes, and I thought they were a great pipe if you didnt plan on doin anything else besides the pipe and air filter. I had them for about a month when I decided I wanted more power. I called up Toomey and they swapped me pipes free of charge!! As far as reliability though, I think banshees are one of the most reliable quads. My previous banshee had port and polish and some other goodies and I never touched it once i had it jetted in. If you take the right precautions then you can get a high horsepower engine to last just as long.
  11. You will notice a nice top end gain. But to me they aren't really worth the money unless you have porting. Typical gains I've seen with a ported banshee on the dyno with the cool head, clamp ons, and pipes are 6hp. For they money I wouldnt do them unless you plan to do more to the banshee as time progresses. Rocky mountain sells them for $225 instead of $300.
  12. That sounds about normal to be 155 psi. I had 19cc domes and was at 185 psi at 50 feet above sea level. He better run 110 fuel if he doesn't want to rebuild it again. Also you would not want to go to smaller domes. The smaller the dome the higher the compression. But I would check the gauge, cause 185 seems high even at sea level.
  13. I will be heading over there with kb01shee. The trailer will be a enclosed with some red stripes down the side of it. I can't wait to get over there, time to try out the new 472.
  14. So what would you recommend since I am only running 20" tires? Think I should keep it stock 14/41 or go to a 15/41?
  15. Do you guys think with the stock gearing it will pull sand mountain, nevada in 6th gear? I was thinking only 5th.
  16. I recently got a 472 powervalve cheetah. I am currently running a 20x10x10 10 paddle hauler extreme. My gearing currently is 14:41. I cant decide on whether or not to run this gearing or go to a 15:41 with the tires I'm running. I want to do some hill drag racing and some playing. Most of my mods are listed below. Let me know, any advice would be appreciated.
  17. I wouldn't go with a 22" tire if you dont have the 4mm crank. I think you need the extra low end to help turn those tires. I had a lot of the same mods before and ran a 20x10x10 9 paddle hauler. They seemed to turn real nice. I could drag it up the hill and was a fun duner.
  18. What mods do you have done to your bike?
  19. I am trying to sell some of my stuff off of my banshee. I recently got a new engine, so need to sell the left over parts. My banshee only had approximately 10-15 hours on the engine before it was torn down to put the new engine in it. I have ebay links of the stuff that is for sale, so you can see multiple pictures. If you have a better offer, feel free to let me know. 20. Anyone else have any thoughts?
  21. I just got a 472 Cheetah engine. So its basically the 72mm bore, with the 4mm crank. I have the 35pwk's with k&n's. Right now there are 135 mains and 58 pilots. It starts like first kick, but sure smokes a lot when it idles, which to me seems to big of a pilot. I haven't had a chance to ride it hard yet, since I haven't made it to sand mountain. The elevation I want to jet it to is 4000'. I don't think the 135's are too big, hopefully not too lean either. What do you guys suggest?
  22. I am debating now, maybe I should go with a 22" tire. Should I get 22 x 11 x 10 10paddle or 22 x 11 x 10 10 paddle extremes? Thx
  23. I am in the process of building up a 421 cheetah cub. It will be running on race fuel, 35mm pwk's, cool head. Should be around 90hp. I can't afford a swingarm yet so I will be running the stock one. I am looking for a great duning tire that can still do well in drag racing, yet still be a play bike. I plan to upgrade later when I get an extended swingarm, but want to know what I should get now. I am thinking a 20 x 10 x 10 12 paddle extreme. Any input would be nice, thx.
  24. Sounds good. We will be getting there tonight, and be there all day Saturday. Just look for a 97 F-250, white with a blue trim. Has a Got Sand? sticker in the back window. See you there.
