  1. I'm heading out to Sand mountain this upcoming weekend, just seeing if anyone else is heading there. I will be in a 97 f250, white foor door, stop by and say hi if you are there. Should be a good time.
  2. I would go 9 paddles. I ran them before my porting and they were fine. I could run anything in 4th, across the flats 5th and 6th.
  3. We are heading to St. Anthony on Monday and will be there until August 5th. I hope to see some of you guys out there. We will be staying at sand hills resort, on the top part of the hill. Hope to see some of you guys out there
  4. I am heading to Sand mountain on Friday and Saturday the 24th and 25th. Just seeing if anyone else is heading out there. We are goiong to tune a couple of 472 cheetahs, it should be a good time.
  5. Hey guys, I just put together a banshee. Its a 472 cheetah motor with som shearers. Anyway I put 2 of the 35 Pwk's but dont know where to start with the idle screw and air/fuel screw to get a good starting point. It seems to fire if I put some throttle to it but dies when I let it off. A starting point would help. Thanks.
  6. What did it run you for the 4mm, cheetah cubs and porting? Also does Jeff at F.A.S.T racing have a website? I am thinking about getting them but money is sometimes hard to come by.
  7. Hey guys, I want to add a 4mm crank to what i have now. See Sig. I don't want to get bigger carbs right now, just he crank. Is it possible? Also where should i have it done at, cause splitting the case is something I don't want to have done. Thanks guys. Also what else do i need to have done? The domes need to be shaved right? is that about it? Any information would be helpful
  8. Well actually it is my dads banshee that is being built, but he is having me do a little research since I have one "sig". But yes he is having trinity do all of the work. he sent the motor down last week so what I posted above is what I know. He is sticking to the fmf sst pipes that were on it when he bought it, I told him to get some cpi's but he didn't go for it. we will both be riding it probably and he is about 220, and I am about 200. His swingarm is stock (bad move for sure) but he wants to try to keep it looking somewhat stock. He said he might go +4 in the future, which won't be enough, but he wants it to be somewhat of a play bike when need be also. Also what gearing should I go with?
  9. Ok, I am building up a banshee right now and am trying to determine which tires I want and what gearing I should go with. I am building up a 472 68mm Cheetah motor. It will have 35mm Keihns, k&ns, pretty much the works. I want to go with a 22" tall tire but can't decide on to go with the extremes or stay with the regular haulers, 10 paddle tires. What do you guys suggest? Also what would be a good gearing to start out with. They estimate it to be about 95hp. All information would be greatly appreciated.
  10. St. Anthony is great. I have only been to Winchester Bay once, and St. anthony is by far better. There are miles upon miles of dunes, ranging from some rollers to the deepest bowls Ive seen. The weather is usually pretty good mid 80's, but that was in the first week of August not sure what it would be in June. the elevation is around 5000 feet so I would drop about 2 jet sizes from what you run at Winchester, it would keep you on the safe side you could almost drop 3. There are a couple resorts around, Sand Hills Resort is very nice but is on the north end of dunes and takes about 20-30 mins to hit the real steep stuff. There are 2 other campgrounds to the south one called Oasis, and I forget the other one, they are close to the steep stuff but accomodations aren't as clean and nice as Sand hills. Defininetly find Choke Cherry, Dead horse bowl, and Devils dune when you are there, they are a blast.
  11. They are a new mono block cylinder like the cheetah motors. Just not as big as them, they are making a lot of hp out of the 4mm's. Look under reviews, or images and there are a couple threads on them.
  12. No I did not have to weld my crank to run them. I'm not looking for stock cylinders, what would you be willing to pay? I am debating on selling them, it depends on how much the 4mm will be. Make an offer and I'll keep in you in mind
  13. I have a set of dune ported cylinders, still on my bike. I am thinking about getting the new cheetah cub 4mm stroker. So I am just seeing how much I can sell them for, to see how much I would have to save to get the cub. They are dune ported from Adrenaline powersports. I only have 5 tanks of fuel through them. At adrenaline they dynoed the same ones on a different bike and got 64whp. They have a lot of power, great for playing in the dunes and some hill shootin, been able to beat all banshees that were ported w/out 4mm. Very strong. I would through in the pistons, the cylinders are 0.020 which I had done when ported, so the pistons are fresh. Give me some numbers you guys would give, so I consider it. Thanks.
  14. I was wondering how dumont dunes are in conjuctin with Sand Mountain Nevada, or St. Anthony Idaho. I like going to the big dunes, I went to Pismo last weekend and the dunes were pretty small. I would like to know how big the dunes are at Dumont. Are they as big, or bigger than Sand Mountain? And if so are there a lot of big ones or only a couple of big hills?
  15. Yea sounds good, I will look for you. We will be in a white dodge diesel with a small white enclosed. I have a black and white '01, and my cousin has a blue '02. I will see you there
  16. Yea I am using the stock chain.
  17. Read my sig. I use a 14/43 set up, works really nice, can run 4th up any hill, 5th up some, 5th and 6th down the flats.
  18. My cousin and I are heading out there on Feb. 5th and 6th. Hopefully some guys will be there.
  19. Yea I am interested in getting it polished. If you could send me some pictures I would appreciate it. My email is: [email protected] Thanks.
  20. I am thinking about going there, I have a few questions if you don't mind. Are the easy to access, I have a 2wd pickup so I don't want to get stuck, and do you have to cross the "river" to get to the dunes? Also how strict are they about the spark arrestor and sound decibel. I have toomey t5's and dont really want to buy a hush kit. If it looks good I am planning on going in like 2 weeks.
  21. I am looking for a polished side case, I have the insert, and the water pump cover and I am looking for the case polished. If any one wants to sell one let me know.
  22. I have toomey t5, and they are blued at the end, which toomey even says should happen when under wide open throttle for long amounts of time. I did a chop, and I am a nice dark tan, so it can just happen. My cousins is the same way.
  23. Rocky Mountain Atv has it. $29.95
