    I wouldn't worry about it at all. It's not going to hurt anything. Without reading the article, I suspect the boat owners are probably worked up over misinformation as well. The premature wear and poor running condition is bogus. :geek:

    Unless you have a bad spark plug or spark plug wire, then yes it is not iginition related. :thumbsup:

    Like I said, Each time the coil fires it fires both plugs. This is a called a waste spark style ignition. :geek: The CDI has no idea that there are even two cylinders on the bike. All it sees is on crank position and the duration between seeing that crank position. :geek:

    No. Each time the coil fires, it fires both plugs. Unless you have a bad plug or wire, spark will be going to both cylinders. :geek:

    They are the later designed hubs............ However, I think the failures were more on the 450 hubs than the Banshee hubs. :geek:
