  2. I'd look at a picture if you were to post it.
  3. That's a bit of a challenge to trade since I live in CA.
  4. Sounds like a good deal. Where are you located? Send me some pictures to [email protected].
  5. Now that's funny...........
  6. SOrry for not getting back to you. Not only does the PM thing not seem to be working, but I am also not geting emails regarding updates to this post. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, I have been in Germany for work most of this last month. I'll get ya some pics tomorrow of my bike. Additionally if you need a to find a bike right away there is a guy in Placentia that has an ok bike for sale, but he wants too much for it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. How much are you looking to get on top of my bike?
  8. I might be getting ready to sell the thing outright. Shoot me an pm and we can talk about it.
  9. Shipping bikes isn't that expensive, maybe we could work sometrhing out. Shoot me some pictures of the Honda. Additionally, I may also be interested in a dirt bike.
  10. I have a whole Banshee to trade, would you be interested in that?
  11. Is there really not anyone with a street bike that would rather have a nice Banshee? In other words, "bump".
  12. Ditto?
  13. You can buy CF all day long at www.fiberlay.com .
  14. This man speaks the truth!
  15. Actually it probably does have hp similair to what you calcualated. pneumatic turbines are very powerful and can be very small. The downside is that it takes a much larger powersource to compress the air that runs them. Remember that horspower is the rate at which towrque is made and that torque is the real measure of the amount of work an engine can produce.
  16. I am looking to trade my Banshee for a street bike of some type. Since I moved to CA I find myself without any time to ride it now or in the foreseeable future. Check out the attached pictures for the mods list. I took this bike down to the frame last year. It is a stock bore 4mm stroker that makes a dyno proven 78 rwhp. There is less than 10 hours on the motor and tranny. Let me know what y'all got to trade. I am not that interested in selling it outright unless someone makes me the right offer.
  17. I want to know what a cock bag is. Furthermore, how do you appraise the value of such a bag?
  18. Crotchless Panties..............thats it.
  19. If the question is are Boyesen RAD Valves better then V-Force reed valves then the naswer is yes. The key to optimum performance from a reed valve is laminar flow throw the valve and it is pretty obvious that the V-Forces aren't achieving anythin lik that. I have run both vlaves on one of my bikes on the dyon and the V-Forces actually lost power compared to the RAD valves. If you were to compare the V-Forces to a stock cage then I'm sure they are better, but I would guess that it is only because the reed petals are made of a superior material.
  20. First off, college is cool. Now for the letter: Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Barry McCockiner. I am a 31 year-old single man. I've have an Associates of Arts Degree from the Wyoming Technical Institute and Ford factory diagnostic training on the Rotunda diagnostic station. It has been tough around without a Parts Manager. Our last Manager left to make more money at the local transvestite strip club. It seems that every day I have to stop what I'm doing to order parts. The effects of this is that many customers are not willing to wait the extra four hours that are added to the expected finish time on appointments. Consequently we are losing more customers than ever. It is fortuitus that I am paid hourly instead of flat rate, but I still waste alot of time waiting on the parts to arrive, so I've made friends with Larry, the Service Writer. When customers call with problems I forecast what parts I might need, and get them on order before the customer gets here. It's expensive because sometimes I don't need the parts and we cannott send them back, but until we get a parts manager I don't know what else to do. Thank you four your time. I sincerely hope that this issue gets resolved soon. (I sort of cherry picked though one of these other posts...........oooops)
  21. Like it was staed before. You cannot mix brake fluids. It is not even recommended to mix brands, but I would not pay as much attention to that. DOT 3 and 4 are failry similair in make-up with 4 having a higher boiling point, less foaming, and is slightly less hydroscopic. DOT 5 is a bastard brake fluid that is not hydroscopic, silicon based (doesn't east paint), does not foam, and has a super high bioling point. From an engineering point you would only want to use DOT 5 when racing or because you have certain brake components that will be eaten by DOT 3 or 4 (Harleys).
  22. The NGK Iridiums are all that I run. Mostly becaue they don't foul out, but also so I can tell some of my buddies that thats why I am beatiing them. Soon there will a bunch of idiots with 450s running around the dunes with those plugs. NGK should start sending them to me for free.
  23. The trade off between high compression and high RPM performance is that in higher RPM's there will be more static drag and make higher RPM's less achievable, but your low end performance will be much higher. Does that make sense? I'm drunk and I'm not sure if I care.
  24. The only reason I ever disliked rockets what that the silencer craftsmanship of the previous generation was pretty slutty and the fact that no one has dyno sheets from anything but an inertial dyno (personal thing). Of course, I am still not a fan of the new generation silencers being fastened with pop rivets. If the Rockets make more power on an engine then you should go with them. If I can get porting done to match the pipes when I buy them then I certainly will buy a set of Rockets to fool around with. When I bought my last few sets of CPI's I have had all of my questions fully satisfied. This and the silencer thing is my only bitch when it comes to Rockets (I ask fairly complicated questions). ...................Thus MY hissy fit. Hissy fits are cool, don't knock them.
  25. I think I might have two assholes then.
