  1. Hey guys, anyone know if the old quadracer 250s have reverse (clockwise loose) or normal (counterclockwise loose) threads on the clutch side of the crankshaft? Thanks guys...
  2. Hey everyone... brand new gbc paddle masters on brand new 10" .190 rims. Toughest rims they made, and toughest paddles they make. 4/100 bolt pattern. Paid 200$, take 100$ plus shipping. If they go before the weekend, ill include a set of footpegs also (good condition, or great for making double wides). think i got some tie rods, all ballz bearing carrier bearings, and chit kickin around too.
  3. yeah.. ive went over the typical 2 stroke stuff. jetting is spot on, so its not that. Im pretty sure its electrical. Going to verify i disconnected tors properly this weekend, and then go from there. thanks anyway guys
  4. when i flushed the tank, i specifically bought gas for it, so the premix is only a couple days old now... I know... service manuals are nice. I'm convinced its Tors, and wanted to make sure i had disconnected it properly... Oh well, back to the drawing board.
  5. hehe, yeah. Im a race team mechanic for dirtbikes, so im really familiar with 2 stroke design, and wrenching in general. Ive done all the typical trouble shooting. The backfiring leads me to believe it may be the TORS. exactly how do you d/c this stuff? i disconnected the box above the left cylinder, and the caps on the top of the carb tops.. it seemed at though the revs were hanging up (even though the carbs, and slides were operating properly. I made the mistake of swapping the carb tops accidentally on my first shee, and know what that feels like. this is different. Its consistent in power, but just sluggish, and doesnt even sound right.
  6. hey, ive got an 02 banshee thats been sitting a while . I unstuck the cylinders, cleaned the carbs (actually ended up cleaning them about 3 times), flushed the tank, and cleaned the airbox. After inspecting the reeds, and taking note of the 130psi per cylinder compression, i figured things would be set. There are no blockages in the exhaust either. My problem is, the engine will only start with motivation (carb clean, or the like down the cylinders.... i know..i know) and then when it does, it just doesnt feel right, and backfires out of the left cylinder randomly. Ive had many banshees and this one just doesnt have the grunt a typical banshee has.... anyone have any ideas? the machine is 100% stock. thanks guys,
  7. that is fuggin awesome. definatly looks like its straight outta the ghetto... i love it. If you were closer id have to try and pull the funds together. Itd be funny to drive around here... looks like every time the window comes down theres going to be a 9mm pointed at you sideways.
  8. Hey, I have a 98 zx7r that is streetfighter'd. 14k miles, 2nd look seat covers, rs-3 exhaust, brand new rear tire only has about 20miles on it, carbon blinkers/mirrors, carbon rear mini-stalk blinkers. Great bike, gets about 30-35mpg. Broke my back on my stunt bike, and wont be riding until next year..looking to sell my street ride, or trade for something interesting... Will entertain trade offers.
  9. i live in maine. id like to get 400$ for the ninja engine...i got alot more into it, but i just need to get at least 2/3 of what i have into it. as for the blaster stuff, i am not sure what pieces you are talking about. i pretty much have 2 complete blasters that i am parting out.
  10. ive got a bite for 30$ right now on the tether, and the shee frame and nerfs are sold for sure. the ninja is a 600cc with all electrical, carbs, throttle, aftermarket exhaust. my voc teacher who is a honda/kawie/suzuki mechanic of 30yrs says it has an aftermarket iginition system that is way ahead of its time. i cannot verify this, but i dont see why he would say something that wasnt true. as for mileage, i cannot remember exactly. the bike had a lowspeed crash due to an inexperienced rider that resulted in slightly tweaked forks. the unfortunate part was that the bike was then dropped as a result of the crash, ruining most of the body work.....i do not have the gauge cluster, as it was broken but i do remember the mileage being under 8000miles, and had it running before i had pulled it from the machine. i adjusted the valves before running it, and did some polishing to the exhaust port. i found 3 k&N air filters off of another ninja at a boneyard. they are for carbs prolly 2-3mm bigger, but i got them to fit. u will need to buy 1 k&N clampon. the bike dynoed 94 hp at the rear wheel supposivly with the aftermarket exhaust, but i cannoy verify this. i assume with the k&n's and polishing ontop of that, it is very very close to 100hp. a picture is on the way. thanks everyone, chris

  13. ninja engine blaster frame with swingarm. also have pegs and tierods, stem, seat axle, a arms, and shocks... basically a whole 'nother roller shee frame paddle masters....look at the blade, its perfect. just set on machine so i could roll it around the garage brand new pro design tether nitro 157 snowboard with lamar size 12boots...u wish u had curtains like me  :hey: sony amp...will come with the perty inline fuse block so u dont light ur car up the blaster ... just needs topend thrown on theres alot of aftermarket parts... twist, bars, grips, tires, custom painted plastic&seat, custom made shock covers, shaved fenders and mounts.. year old craftsman toolbox. paid 600$ for it
