  1. I'm from Bellingham.
  2. That would be hot.
  3. How would you lose HP when adding a bigger carb? Everyone knows the stock carbs on Banshee are way too small as it is and I wouldn't be losing HP, just bottom end until the powerband kicks in and the extra fuel is really needed. 288678[/snapback] You need to hang out with smarter people.
  4. There have been numerous two-stroke powered streamliners run at the salt flats that do have a similair power-to-weight ratio as a Banhsee. There are many problems with running a two stroke vehicle on the road concerning driveability and most important emissions.
  5. The bowls are on the correct sides and the reeds are in relatively perfect condition. The starting on the 27.5's and not the 30's was probably related to not reconnecting the choke cross-over tube after checking the bowls. Currently the 30's are much better, but it still will not cold start. I am leary of installing the 32.5 pilots, it has also been suggested that my choke may not be working correctly. Has anyone had any experience with this? The choke seems to have some effect when the motor is actually running. I am about ready to build another motor for this thing if I can't get this one running.
  6. Screw just making one for the girlfriend, I am going to make one for each of my friends. It will be hilarious.
  7. All you need to rebuild the crank is a guy with a press and then some way of balancing it when it is back together. If you are really hard up for balancing the crank it can be done on a granite table with feeler gauges though I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very experienced as screwing up such things.
  8. It has been suggested over on Planet Sand that I move up to a 32 pilot jet. Is this a good idea? Does anyone have any other ideas?
  9. Ok, I moved one clip down and that fixed that problem. I am still having the cold start issue. I cannot get the bike to start at all with 30 pilots. The 27.5 pilots I can get the bike to start with, but I can't seem to nail down a position of the air screws to make it start consistantly. In fact no matter what I do I have to kick the crap out of it. My exhaust analyzer is now up and running and I know I need to be in the three turn and under ball park according to my A/F ratio at idle. Is there anything else that I am missing here or do I have to keep fooling with it?
  10. Nice work on that as well.
  11. I still have never seen a dyno sheet for the Rockets.
  12. I'm pretty sure I posted that video in the Funyy Video thread a couple weeks ago.
  13. That link no worky for me.
  14. That's an awesome website. I bet the girl who made that is really hot.
  15. Ok, so I got it to start with a 27.5 pilot and 360 mains. Once the bike is running, on the transition from 1/8 to full throttle there seems to be a slight bog in bewtween. Is this a needle clip adjustment? Man I feel like a retard with out my exhaust gas analyzer.
  16. It should be fine. Thats what one of my bikes is running right now. Though there is a difference in anti-detonation performance between leaded and unleaded gas of the same octane rating. I'm running leaded if that helps.
  17. It vothers me that the person who made that is wuite possibly illiterate. Look how they spelled dyno'd.
  18. Ya know what else would be badass? Brooke working on the graphics for my bike and getting them done sometime this year.
  19. Aren't those the things that I had printed for you?
  20. I think all of my sand rides are getting one of those stickers.
  21. Damn trailer park crack heads from Kent.
  22. How nice does it need to be?
  23. I'm still not sure. My Calgas showed up yesterday, but it turns out that the damn Sun machine has a bad oxygen sensor. So now I have to wait on Equiserv to come out and fool with the thing. I did have time to get finshed putting the pipes on last night. Maybe this weekend I can take a shot at jetting the bike like everyone else has to.
