  1. It's probably not my place to say anything, but that usually doesn't stop me.......................from what I have come to understand is that in2glamis is purely a drop ship operation that really doesn't have anything on hand. Once you win an auction or place an order, in2glamis has to order what you want from their vendor and either ship it directly to you or have it shipped to them and then have it shipped to you. This probably isn't a big deal except that if the vendor is out of stock, you get screwed. Most of the bad stuff I have heard has been related to ridiculously long delivery times, lack of communication, or simply parts not showing up, and other flakey activity. Some of this may also come from the fact that the operation is basically a guy and a part time working lady. I have read about the following in regards to in2glamis: no communication via phone or email; parts never shipped; parts took two months to ship; wrong parts sent; parts not even close to advertised condition.
  2. I'll stand corrected in regards to this mod being applicable to trail riding. The only time that I have trail ridden a Banshee, it had a stock flywheel on it. I was speaking from design theory and not practical application, which is sometimes paramount to talking out my ass. I would like to emphasize the issue of having the mod done by someone reputable. A lot of attention should be paid to what defines reputable in this case. Balancing of the part needs to happen after this mod is done for sure.
  3. Yeah, this was the guy I was thinking of that coughed up a half a screen long post for the Brain / Brian thing. It's probably best that I haven't run across him before in respect to the dyno topic. While I am certainly no expert on dyno tuning bikes, there is a chance I might know a little about dyno tuning in general. This would be a good place to post one of Cotton Eyed Joe's custom dyno graphs.
  4. This is the third set of pipes this week that are made by folks who that I had no idea made a certain style of pipes or just pipes for a Banshee. I saw a set of pipes that were for a Banshee and were supposedly made by Kenny Roberts. I also saw a set of silenced, Toomey out of frame drag pipes. I am afraid the world may be ending soon. :: FYI: Graydon went out of business within the last couple years. I think somebody bought the remains of the company, but they haven't resurfaced publicly yet.
  5. I am still trying to figure out what the thought process is that you go through to come up with that idea. It's not like the seller is just a kid, it appears he's and adult as he is selling a pretty good size boat in another auction.
  6. We should start a pool for how long it will take for you to sell that. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: (the swingarm is in great shape and Bansh-eman is a good guy)
  7. They have a lifetime warranty.
  8. You really only have two possibilities for a cause of this problem: 1.) The cranks seal is not good. 2.) What ever was used for a gasket between the upper and lower case halves is no longer sealing.
  9. Do a search for dirt wheels in this forum. This has already been posted. On that note, shut up.
  10. FYI: I think alot of people have had problems with that in2glamis guy. Do a search or maybe somebody else will chime in. I cannot speak for myself as I have not done business with him because of all the bd things that I have heard.
  11. I have always been a big fan of their products. It seems like they are alot more popular up in OR and WA. They make some very nice differential oil, auto trans. fluid, and some pretty wacky weights of engine oil that are better than anything else that I have used in several instances.
  12. Is that a factory Yamaha seat cover? Is so, who wants to sell me a factory Yamaha seat assembly with one of those covers on it?
  13. I tend to do something a little bit different than the normal o.d. that most folks do from what I've seen. It's a mod that I would never pay someone to do, to put it another way.
  14. I wish I had friends that were ATV mechanics and are were that talented. I suppose the only explanation for that is that cocaine is a hell of a drug. :shoothead:
  15. I just wanted to make sure what the concept was behind that feature. It certainly directs the the air flow, but it will never increase it. I'm personally a little suspect of the design, but I don't have first hand with the product, so I'll keep my mouth shut.
  16. I personally don't think that a good quality heim will not last as long as a quality ball joint. I am sure someone will disagree with me. The Jansenn or the Quicksand arms are both fantastic products that are made by great companys.
  17. I think having a PE license in the civil field is probably worthwhile. It always seems like the job posting I see that have something to do with civil engineering require a PE license. I just could never get into buildings and roads as something to work on every day. I have an MS degree mainly because the university where I got my BS degree from had employed me as a program assistant and one of the perks was that they cover 100% of my educational expenses. The downside about my educational background is that most of the jobs that pay well for someone like me are in CA, MI, NC, Europe, or Japan. If I had an MBA instead of a MSME I would have been promoted a couple time over at my current company. It also kind of hurts me that I am not Japanese, but that's another story.
  18. Redline is the same company that makes Water Wetter. The product line is similair to Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc. past that.
  19. That's a bunch of b.s.
  20. That doesn't look like the either of the Modquad intakes that I have. We are obviously takling about the one with the built in cross-over. I bought mine straight from Modquad. I am not sure what that is you have.
  21. I was figuring that he meant the ends of silencers.
  22. IS this the same guy that jumped up my ass in a thread a couple weeks ago, because I brought up a funny typo that he made?
  23. No, as long as it is stock motor and you add your premix to it.
  24. The problems seemed like they went away for a bit and now they are back again. ::
  25. .............and his signature got smaller.
