  1. I suppose that your gearing may be way off. Otherwise, I would still say your compression might be low.
  2. You may want to check your compression. You may not have any.
  3. It sounds like a rod/crank bearing or a broken piston.
  4. I'll bring the donkey.
  5. I haven't had a rebuild kit need a rebuild yet. The longest I have ever had one (sold the particular bike) is about four years.
  6. Sorry.......my typing has a lisp.
  7. Word. That's what I have used. It works fabulously.
  8. The police have them at the dunes in Washington. They make it most places, but they are very slow and get stuck in the soft stuff pretty quick. You're pretty much guaranteed to see the police trying to pull each other off a dune atleast once a weekend.
  9. Sandsport and Sand Addiction
  10. I have been waiting for them to start delling the new wheels before I buy a set.
  11. Boonman does to goo work from what I have seen as does DMR.
  12. http://www.realultimatepower.net/index4.htm I am assuming that this webpage may belong to OJ.
  13. Make sure you get the special ones with shit already in them.
  14. All I have to say is WOW. I am not sure what you are looking for as proof of ambiguous skills. In regards to the cat cleaner, are we talking about cleaning an animal, a catalystic converter, a diesel engine, or possibly a piece of heavy equipment? I must have missed this thread and am a bit intrigued.
  15. Yamaha has a bunch of prototypes up at their Cypress, CA facility. Most of them are UTV's. They have a couple oddball snow vehicles in the works as well. They are not working on an ATV like that at their facility from what have seen. Of course that's not their only R&D facility, but most of their offroad stuff lives there for awhile during development.
  16. My vent line routing situation that caused me problems had to do with running the lines straight out of the case and down. Between the lockup clutch assembly and the use of some heavy oil, I never gave the oil a chance to de-gas and thus it was pumping itself out the lines. Of course, it only did it when the engine was hot to further compound the problem. It took me a couple iterations before I sorted out what was going on.
  17. Screw that then. I am in the market to do something a little different with my seat and I thought that it was a pretty neat OEM seat that I might be able to shag off eBay. I would hate to venture a guess as to what fake gripper material looks or feels like.
  18. I creatively routed my vent lines one time, which turned out to cause a similair situation. It's probably not the case as what I came up with was something pretty far from OEM routing, but I thought I'd throw that out there.
  19. I am not as talented as everyone else seems to be, but I have mastered the fine art of carefully arranging letters to form words and then assembling them into a line to form sentences.
  20. Word. Additionally, I actually have a bit of a problem with the fact that he is auctioning items that he is not sure if he can get or not.
  21. Some of us take what we can get in that department.
  22. I also signed it. I thought the Brady bill expiring would put an end to some of this b.s. :shoothead:
  23. To add a bit more: If you are using a ridiculously heavy weight oil you may also have a problem even if the oil level is correct to begine with.
  24. Yep, that's what's on my red bike. To further reassure you that it's a good manifold, I used to make my own, but stopped because the ModQuad units were priced well enough and of a high enough quality that it was no longer worth my time. The only downside to that manifold is that it is alot heavier than it needs to be.
  25. Good call. I didn't think of the oil heating up, expanding, and thus overflowing.
