  1. If you search this forum a bit you will find more info than you ever needed about running race gas.
  2. PM Meat on here. He seems to know more than a normal person would ever want to about GNCC racing.
  3. Ayou are missing the fact that I am making most of the parts. All I have into it is my time and materials, plus some outside process work like anodizing, heat treating, and nitriding (most of which I can get done in exchange for beer).
  4. I am sure it will sell on eBay. What mystifies me is that the original offer from me was for the cover and a couple beers in trade for two screws. I can't figure out how someone would figure that was not a good deal.
  5. IMO MySpace is a retarded waste of time. I don't understand the attraction.
  6. If you make the triple yourself, then it's a hell of a lot less than a turbo setup and it will be alot less finicky to tune. There is a reason there are not alot of people who have a turbocharged Banshee. Including all the tooling and fixture material, I am still well under $4k into my triple.
  7. Ahh yes, but the link someone else posted actually had pictures and videos of triples racing in it. The closest relationship that what you posted has to this thread is that you were talking about Banshees drag racing.............but by using that logic you could have posted that information in 50% of the threads that are present on BansheeHQ.
  8. It's been along time since I weighed 80lbs.
  9. For your bidding pleasure: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...p;rd=1&rd=1
  10. I just stuck the cover up on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...p;rd=1&rd=1
  11. This is true. I think Twister may have some sort of strange version of tourette's syndrome though that makes him spout of random drag racing facts for no reason.
  12. Id there any particular reason that class is relevant to this thread?
  13. Because it sounded like more fun then designing another two cylinder engine around the Banshee architecture. Plus around 250hp in an around 300lbs. bike is always fun.
  14. Wicked is a compnay that I bleive is based in Florida. Most of their stuff is ok from what I hear, though I have never used any of it. I would steer clear of those Magnum a-arms. I am guessing they are fairly low quality.
  15. THe cover is a very nicley made piece as are most things Cascade makes. Those light covers just aren't my style. I picked up some nice stainless steel, button head screws from Ace Hardware this morning. It seems that I have lucked out and there are two fantastic hardware stores in terms of fasteners within two miles of my house. If someone doesn't take me up on my offer of giving the cover away for a beer tonight, it's going on eGay tomorrow.
  16. Those are all good questions. I do not feel that I am probably the best person here to answer them though.
  17. What were your questions about the QSR arms? Maybe one of us can answer them sooner.
  18. I didn't know Moose made a-arms. I suspect they are fairly inexpensively made. They are probably alright f you just ride in the sand and don't do any jumping. What was wrong with the Janssenn and Quicksand arms?
  19. I know how you feel. I have been trying to give away a nice, Cascade taillight cover in exchange for two OEM taillight lens screw and no one wants to do that.
  20. Pictures and a location would help.
  21. Janssenn or Quicksand make good arms in your price range.
  22. I wasn't poking at you in particular. I know you said that you would send me the screws, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping you the cover and I certainly didn't want you to have to ship me the screws just because I was too lazy to solve the problem myself. My real issue is that there isn't anyone one locally (even though I see atleast one Banshee per day around here) that wants a free taillight cover. SImply amazing.
  23. If you look lower in the forum list you will see a website forum that has a thread that explains the roost thing.
  24. Really? I love my lockup cover.
  25. Nitrous and alcohol fires aren't that bad. I have made it through a few of those. Nitromethane has yet to put me in too much physical danger, but I haven't worked with it very much compared to other fuels.
