  1. I think you're the first person I have heard say that. What happened?
  2. God damn sneaky fat girls. They are always trying to trick you.
  3. I'm sure someone will out bid you with a bid higher than a dollar there Mr. Moneybags.
  4. Where in Oregon is wayne located?
  5. The diesel method is what I would like to start calling the "Bigred Methid." It works very well, but as said before it can be a bit messy. I like to go to a coin-op carwash to do it if I can't do it at work. :ermm:
  6. I finally got the bolt kit from Fastenerguy on eBay. The fasteners were actually alot better than I expected. Almost all of the stainless steel fasteners were graded as follows: ISO 3506. A2 Property Class 70 is an austenitic stainless steel essentially similar to alloy 304, although it has higher mechanical property requirements - yield strength minimum = 450 MPa, and ultimate tensile strength minimum = 700 MPa. On top of that, most of the fasterners look like they have been hand polished with a rouge polishing compound. I won't have a chance to get the fasteners into service for awhile, but as of now, for the $90 I spent on the kit, I am thoroughly impressed.
  7. Yeah, PM Mike.
  8. If it doesn't sell on eBay I will just give it away and you guys can figure out which one of you gets it. I think it might have a bid on it though on eBay.
  9. Wow, you don't look that small in your signature picture.
  10. I don't think it's specifically formatted for mobile devices, but it seems to view pretty well on them. Atleast it's alot better than most. :geek:
  11. I have had an Elka and Axis rear shock fade away on me while doing some fast, rough dune riding. IMO my reworked rear from TCS is better than either of the shocks that I had from the previously mentioned comapnies. I think the Axis shock I had may have had something wrong with it, but the Elka shock I had was in good shape mechanically. The moral of the story is that any shock can fade if given the opportunity.
  12. My new company has most non-industry realted sites blocked. However they did provide me a with a Blackberry that seems to be able to check out the HQ just fine.
  13. I was watching the news down in SoCal awhile back and you could see one of the Minute Men guys was sporting a Barret .50 cal in the background. I guess .50 cal is the preferred caliber of for the shooting of illegal immigrants these days.
  14. As a point of interest, the 100% legal Mexican immigrants I had working for me at my old company were some of the best machinists and general shop folk around..................................and they absolutely hated the illegal immigrant population. A couple years ago, I had one of my operators beat the crap out of an illegal that was bothering his father for work (he was some type of construction contractor). I think my company bailed him out of jail and provided him with the the companies legal services. If my memory serves me correctly, I think there were a bunch of relatives of the guy that got beat up that were deported as a result of that deal. As another point of interest my old company had a habit of applying pressure to some of their local vendors with threats of alerting the INS with rumors of illegal immigrants working there. In summary, TRD basically took a position of actively screwing over illegal immigrants and having them tossed in jail or deported. Which is sort of interesting when you think about them being a Japanese owned company operating in the U.S. The classic quote from a couple of the guys in the legal department was, "we are TRD and we are going to fuck you very much." One of them had that printed on some novelty business cards at one point.
  15. There are a couple guys I used to work with that did the same thing. I was thinking that it was something I should look into doing for about 30 seconds.
  16. Ahh yes, dial up will slow you down every time.
  17. Let me know if you can figure out where to buy one.
  18. I am a big fan of shooting illegal immagrants after living in SoCal for several years.
  19. My boss at my old job didn't really care what I was doing as long as I got my work done. He was particularly amused when Lee rolled out the HQ casino. :geek:
  20. Do you have a link or anything like that?
  21. Wow, I didn't remember them being that heavy.
  22. Is the power output about the same between the two? I am having trouble seeing what the advantage of choosing to work with a turbo engine is vs. working with a triple. My brain doesn't start functioning until after 10am on Mondays, so maybe that's the reason I can think of anything.
  23. That is 100% correct. If there was anything that was to be learned here it's that.
  24. HS Customs, Dave Moore, K&T, and I am sure there are several others.
  25. I am kicking around the idea of making a set of twin cylinder cases as opposed to buying them at the moment. I would kind of like to be able to ride my new frame around a bit this summer. :geek:
