  1. I made the mounting bosses for my red bike, not my new frame. Over the last few years I have found making fasteners to be a waste of time. Whipping out the MSC book is alot more fun and easier.
  2. Wasn't that an Atari video game from the '80's? :ermm:
  3. That's an interesting point you bring up. I remember thinking, "what part of the car is that," while I was watching the video. :geek:
  4. Are you selling all three bikes for $4000?
  5. Yeah, that didn't take long to re-read. I think the entire post was: "You're an idiot." Atleast you haven't proven me wrong.
  6. I wonder if that will work on smaller dents? I am guessing that the thickness of the dented panel, the dent size, and ambient air temperature fave alot to do with how successful that process is. I may have to go try that on my truck this afternoon.
  7. Now the bidding is heating up. I think we are up to $5 now.
  8. I think that's what aot of people figure out. Hence, why I asked to buy the seat out of the ether. :geek:
  9. If you wind up parting it out, let me know. I would like your seat.
  10. Uh oh, some one out bid you with a bid of $1.04.
  11. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  12. My eBay page shows that there are alot of people watching the auction for that cover. I have a feeling that the last ferw minutes of the auctions is going to have alot of bid sniping going on.
  13. I think you may have made a typo there. Don't you mean you pet your monkey while doing it?
  14. I agree. However, even if you are pretty well off, it is more fun to work on your own stuff in my opinion. In most cases, I have just as much fun working on my stuff as I do actuially riding it. :geek:
  15. I do that stuff mysel as well. As an aside, I think that the HQ populous tends to be comprised of more do-it-yourselfer's than pay-someone=to-do-it-for-you type folks. This is also one of the reasons that L ike this sight better than Planet Sand. :geek:
  16. Possibly......................but in reality, the Japanes engineers seem to have a thing for medium-fine thread (M10 fine is 1.0) bolts in blind, steel threaded applications. :geek:
  17. I got the front fender brackets and steering stem clamps from theshee. Now, I found that I need the funky bracket that bolts on to the steering stem clamps, the gas tank mounting hardware, a key switch w/ a key, upper a-arm bolts, etc. Let me know what y'all have.
  18. To make a slight ammendment to the bolt dimensions I cam up with, 50mm is a bit too long. 45mm would better, but that length is not as common. I will probably wind up with 40mm long bolts if I can find some that actually have a shoulder on them. :shoothead:
  19. You're correct. It's the same sort of deal they have on jet skis.
  20. I would. If I were to make up a number, I would say that you would have $500 less into a comparable cub project.
  21. Those are two nice looking bikes. I like the conservative look.
  22. Did you ever find a place to buy the heel guards from? One of the guys that works for me now was telling me that Roll is making the gaurds again, but in a bit different design. I don't know if this is true or and I certainly haven't seen any proof of this. The particular guy that told me this has a tendency to tell vague stories that wind up only being partly true. I wouldn't be surprised if Roll is just making a new heel guard, but does not make them for a Banshee. That would fit in with this guys standard mode of operation.
  23. I will agree with Mike here. I have run several different strokes with stock cylinders and it probably isn't worth the effort anymore. I do all the work myself and it still winds up costing alot of cash compared to a cub engine.
  24. I sent you a PM back. :geek:
  25. That's a done deal if you don't mind being payed with Paypal.
