  3. a little black box under the front of the seat on the shift side of the bike, has a 3 wire harness. unplug it.
  4. one word: bearings those little fuckers are make or break on a ground up build, and they are expensive to boot.
  5. 2R isnt a bad lube. i prefer the honda HP2 personally, but i think they have better chems all the way around.
  6. you need about a 3ft long long hose on that tee and it vents to the atomosphere. the oil was coming up there because of heat expansion, although that seems very high. check ur oil level and see if its high.

  12. an easy out will never hold up to a hammer. the steel is too hard/brittle for that type of use. hence they break clean and dont bend.
  13. no, hes just adjusted the motor to be compatible with the chassis' capabilities.
  14. no those would be for the motor only. for the whole engine package it would probably exceed 100 lbs.
  15. you can get ~13" with a no link setup i think.. i havent tried it yet though.
  16. gearing too high to pull the 5/6? i mean if 1-4 run like a top, then the motor should be in at least OK condition.

  18. dude that problem has so man variables its unreal. get a quality compression tester and check it.
  19. a carb is not a carb. there are differences. when ur buddy asked for a 38mm he should have looked for something like an FCR. the two stroke carbs have different designs. not true. some are some arent. the carb on a CRF 450R is hooked right to the cable. it has to do with the carb, and nothing to do with what stroke motor it is. a sportman 400 will have the vacuum type carb, but will a TRX400? no. they are both four strokes but for totally different purposes.
  20. we have a motion pro chain breaker at work and it requires grinding. the kit was like 175, but maybe its not your average kit. it includes everything to break from a 420 to a 630 chain, and all the tools to press it back together.
