mine are ziptied to the upper arm, on the rear section. that keeps them tight and out of the way. are for the length change, between the last zip and the caliper itself, i made a little s-section. it was kinda funny looking at first, but now that they have been that way for two years they took on a more natural shape, and look kinda neat I think.
You guys with stickers are lucky. here in OK, we don't have anything like that and the air is Pristine! Tragically enough, it's cheaper to live here also.
haha. suckers.
Couple hours, gotta split the case. If youre replacing the drive side you need a gear puller also. No big deal if you have a manual or an experienced helper.
I used it for years. Blew two motors on it also, were they related? I don't think so. One was a piston with a hole in it, the other was when a skirt shattered into my bottom end.
Too bad no one here has a spectrometer. Then we would know the REAL difference.
Im a student, I define broke. When you look it up, there is my picture.
I wasn't being cocky, but that's a really cheap frame in comparison. It's just an observation.
No, the coolant will not flow the other way, its a physical impossibility. There will be some flow in the standard direction but in no way will it ever flow backwards.
I dunno, think so? Its not a positive displacement pump, so I'm not sure what it would do. I am however taking a hydraulics course and we are covering pumps. So tomorrow after class I'll ask my prof and see what the little asian man thinks.
I bet it would flow, but just about as inefficiently as possible.
Ya, that's what my parents wanted me to buy originally. However, by the time I got all the components I have now, it was ridiculously high. So i built this guy. I need to find a way to make it quieter though. It's on my bedroom ands it takes at least 12 beers before I can go to sleep cause it's so loud. ha, but seriously I have to turn it off before bed. It's the PSU that's making all the noise. So Justin you got any suggestions? I;m not going the water cooled route. Im thinking of adding some fans. Hopefully by making them run slower they will make less noise, but that may just be a pipe dream.
Yes, assembly was very quick and had no hang ups. The big thing for me is installing software. It seems like every time I got on the internet for the first week I needed to add a program there or a plugin here. I pretty much have it all done up now.
The DYIY method of computer purchase is definitely the way to go. Get a solid case and power supply and those you can keep forever.
heres the build:
8600 GTS OC, the 2.4 quad core, asus P5K deluxe, 650w PS, 500 gig HD, 2 gigs ram, dual 19in wide screen LCD's, DVD-RW.
should be a nice machine.
BTW, the dual LCD's is a gift from god himself.
That's a sweet deal.
