  5. 30 for an al tube seems cheap to me.
  6. just replace the heim. it's a 5 year old highly stressed part, that was probably a piece of shit to begin with. call aurora and don't look back.

  9. oh ya, can't for get those. anyone who's wants to take my guns is a dbag too. fuckin hippies.
  10. That's my only guess. Remove it and check it with a meter. The nominal voltage should be stamped into the cover.
  11. Hardkor is a pretty bro word to have engraved all across your bike, I don't blame you. Do you not have CNC access like you used to?
  12. probably not very hard at all. just need a welder, grinder, saw, and most importantly a brain. making pipes is what I would view to be crux.
  13. nah, it's easy. if you wanna try let me know, i can walk you right through it.
  14. Lowrance iFinder h20c here. Color is totally worth the extra hundred bones.
  15. Simply, to overclock you just crank up the voltage and the front side bus. this in turn creates more heat, and that's when you need to look into heavier cooling solutions.
  16. well where are the pics mike?
  17. You seem confused. You can't remove material from a structure and expect it to have the same stiffness, at least not in this case. Unless you are out to scrape up every ounce of power, then cutting an already weak from is a terrible idea. The guys who run these are on groomed tracks, and you want to climb hills. IMO it would be advantageous to add material in key areas, rather then creating a whole bunch of dead tubes.
  18. Nice unit, how do you like it?
  19. +4? oh my, bumpsteer city.
  20. ya, where the hell has she been?
  21. Haven't heard of it on a stock frame. but aftermarket frames it seems like the thing to do.
  22. racer

    ha
  23. What is a hand lathe? Do you turn the part with one hand and manipulate the carriage with another?
  24. Oh Meat. There is nothing wrong with flux core, except it's appearance. It gets better penetration for the dollar than any gassed setup. TIG is not overkill. It looks and performs better, it's more adaptable to exotic materials (alum, stainless, magnesium, etc), plus if you can get good at out of position TIG, you can weld anything, anywhere. ANYTHING. But a MIG is more practical.
  25. Most certainly, plus you can usually hookup a stinger and SMAW with a tig setup.
