  1. I know the stock stuff sucks but I'm trying to figure out what spring rates would be the best for me.
  2. Here is a link from the suspension section, no one seemed to be able to help me get the info I need. Maybe some here can help me out: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90709 I ride the dunes mainly and a few MX tracks.
  3. So far this is what I've gathered. Fronts- Overall length: 380mm Stroke: 5 inches Spring rate: What would be the best spring rates for dual spring rate? Rear- Overall length: 350mm Stroke: 4 inches Spring rate: What would be the best spring rates for dual spring rate? So one on here has to know some spring rates.
  4. I have the chance to test some shocks from DNM suspneion for my banshee but need to send full specs on the shocks. Can anyone give me the specs so I don't have to pull mine off. Fronts- Overall length: Stroke: Spring rate: What would be the best spring rates for dual spring rate? Rear- Overall length: Stroke: Spring rate: What would be the best spring rates for dual spring rate? IF anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I might be able to get deals on these if the shock turn out to work well.
  5. Thanks for the input, What spring rate should I be running if I weigh 185lbs?
  6. The company I work for was able to get some shocks from GCB in Italy, GCB makes a alot of I Shock shocks for them and we have some that we are trying to get rid of. My company has about 6 sets (2 front, 2 rear) of these shocks and they handle killer on a Rhino. The fronts are 17" from eye to eye and the rears are 15.5" eye to eye. Both have 10 clicks of compression on top and 16 clicks of rebound on bottom. Here are a few pics of the shocks and a few pics of a set installed on my friends rhino (we put them on in less than an hour at the dunes on saturday) My boss is asking $1500+shipping for a set of 4 shocks. I wish I had a Rhino to put a set on myself. There is also 1 set of yfz 450 shocks as well that is for sale for $700 +shipping.
  7. You shouldn't need a progressive spring with linkage. The whole purpose of Linkage is to make the shock progressive by changing the angle when it compresses. But how bad is it rubbing?
  8. So I want to get the rear of my shee to handle better, so I was thinking of revalving it and then getting a spring from TCS. Is the rear shock worth reworking? And I weigh 185 lbs what spring should I get from TCS? My riding style is fast and hard but mainly dunes.
  9. How much better are the Hella 500s?
  10. Is there a bulb I can just put into my stock lights that will make them work better? What are some light options with the stock stator? I don't want the trail tech bullet lights.
  11. Thanks man. All this talk of lowering it 5 inches made me sketched out. Really 1.5 inches is not much and shouldn't effect riding too much. tedd1- how much to you weigh?

What is your opinion on the Burgard long travel kit? Well made? Tough? Easy to install?
  13. Can someone measure the ground clearance that they have on there 450 frontend? Measure from the ground to the bottom bar of the frame on the frontend. That way we can have an exact. Please give us your weight as wheel. And RC it seems your springs are to stiff on the yfz shocks for your weight cause you have taken all the preload out. I wonder if a lighter spring rate would solve your problem? Anyone know the spring rate on shock 450 shocks?
  14. What other lighting options do I have with the stock stator? Hella 4000's have to look huge on a banshee but probably way cool.
