Good point Led, the last few times I

I've never been to a Micky D's with dip'n dots. I'm getting screwed.
-
Might just want to watch until you get a grasp for their quality control.

Only way to get my widened shee with nerfs in my stepside Ranger was to park it on the top of the rails. Save the headache and get a fullsize I can load my shee by myself without ramps in no time, and a full size is just plain nicer than a Ranger.

Yep there's no point in owning a degree key when you have an adjustable plate. Your plate set at +4 is the same as a 4 degree key.
-
Mainly looking at the mods below I'm guessing between 40 and 90.

trinity carb and pro flow?

As said above just specify the airbox adapter and you'll be good to go. Fit's up really well. -
What a dumbass first piss off a marine who's putting his life on the line for him and second to be dumb enough to come back on.

I'll give you that the gps uses points to give your speed but my girlfriends outputs current speed, which if you put it on the dash in my truck is accurate as long as I'm not in a hard acceleration normal accel and it's right with the speedo. You should be able to turn off the street maps for offroad use since there isn't any streets. It's a good feature to have if you are going to use it elsewhere, such as the one we have has features that will tell you what places are at a certain exit on interstate to grab a bite to eat. It'll also tell you what time of the day is best for fishing, and all kinds of stuff that the average person won't ever use. That's where common sense comes into play. I don't think he meant "race" tracks. You need to drive it first to know where you are going to make the track so you should know what your getting into. If someone drives by looking at the gps and not in front of them they deserve their punishment.

I thought that was potato chips? Most GPS's will store the info that SDD talked about. My girlfriend has one and it's pretty nice, Etrex Legend, I don't use it on the Shee I'd probably destroy it where I ride but for the dunes or riding trips to places I don't know as well it'd be pretty nice. I have clocked my shee with it and got it up to 90mph so that was cool. My girlfriend bought it so we could go geocaching which is a good activity for a nice quiet relaxing walk in most parks and forests around the country, i'd rather rip through on the shee but it's nice to take in nature occasionally. Check out http://www.geocaching.com/ they have info on the units there.

The problem isn't the corporations it's the people who drop $1000 on factory plastics because of the color. If people wouldn't pay for it they wouldn't sell it. And when you buy stolen stuff and get caught you don't get a refund, but you might get a place to stay with meals if you knew it was stolen. -
And the second recommendation from Loco. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...hl=tusk+tie+rod I'm in I recommend them again too.

I wouldn't go spending all your money just yet, you just got it and your bound to start breaking stuff. The 2 into 1 carb sounds like it would be good for your riding but pipes, reeds, filter, degree key and lightened flywheel would probably give you more worthwhile and noticeable gains. You've got plenty of time to mod it so take your time and think about the larger picture and where you want the shee to be in a year or two and do the mods in the order that you get the most bang for your buck and in the order that you don't regret dropping some money on something that doesn't get you to that point. You need to figure out what your shee's major weakness is, is it the handling? or the engine? In this thread you've gone down both roads. Don't forget it's easy for everybody to spend your money for you but we don't really know your strengths or weaknesses.

Actually they are different, Boonman lightened my Ricky Stator flywheel to the same specs that he does the stockers (or atleast as close to it as he could) and I sheared it in half in under an hour of riding. You can see the picture of mine on post #29 http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...pic=34432&st=15 I think part of the problem is they balance them from the inside so you can't tell how thick the material is. Boonman can probably shed some more light on this. He's got the specs on mine so he knows how much is too much now.

I had mine that muddy on Sunday I should have gotten some pictures, I ended up dropping it through the ice(only a foot deep water) and spinning my tires to get out cleaned the bottom side of the rear fenders and my pantlegs nicely, got muddy again before I got back to the house though.

I think you're on to something. If you still have the plastic cover on wouldn't you be creating an air space which acts like insulation? So if you put fins on the coolant cover and then put billet cover on the outside that had a ram air vent in it that circulated air across the fins and then through an exaust hole. Don't know if it make much difference but I think you could really sell it for a profit. But Stan if you do it I think everybody who posted above should get a little discount on ours since we all helped think it up. -
Personally I with your budget I wouldn't buy a cdi just get yourself a flywheel puller and a degree key. I also wouldn't buy the shocks yet IF you want arms, your 600 would pretty much cover some Quicksands and a filter plate w/filter. Work some magic with your parents and see if you can get them to loan you the additional 325 temporarilly for the shocks or if you don't have a job do some odd jobs till you get the money and do it one time the right way. Also on arm width I really like my +2's but I have nice wide trails if they are tight then either get +1's or stay with stock and get the shocks. My .02 Side note the shortened swinger that Boonman (didn't see Banchetta's post until after mine but him too) is talking about would be a really good investment. I think you can get it done for $200 from Quicksand. The swinger, filter plate w/filter and degree key would probably be your best route but since you've only had your shee for a week you might just wait and see what you think would be the best thing to do. Get the filter plate atleast.

Man that sucks but atleast you seem to have it worked out. When I ordered my single carb from them I really had good service. They gave me the tracking number right away when I called back and asked for it so I knew when it was coming too, but that was almost a year ago I'll never forget that because the first ride with the single put me in the hospital, since I was just checking the jetting I figured I didn't need a helmet . Trinity service has gotten a pretty bad rap on here atleast now we know who we need to talk too, I have to say though the Trinity stuff is pretty damn nice though.

Thanks for the info I'll pass it on to him especially the info on which kit to buy since he was going to go the cheaper route and resleeve it locally. I didn't even think about needing the head machined and I doubt he would have either. It'd be nice if he could actually force me to put a little effort into racing against him when he gets done. -
