  3. None at all, but thats not going to do the motor any good running it at real high rpm's for thirty seconds. Your right thou...if your carbs are properly tuned your shee will hold up for a long time, but how often you clean your airfilter and how your ride you shee will also be a factor on how long your engine will last IMO.
  4. Im at 1000ft. with sst's, and the lid off with 320 mains. Hes at sea level, drag pipes, reed cages, and +4 timing, so im going to say order 350-380 mains.

  6. I own 145 acres and have permission to ride on more than 1,000, so ive got it made . Most cops around here are dicks also, but have let us off with a warning for riding on dirt roads slowly . They said next time they catch us there going to write us $300 worth of tickets and impound are shit. Shouldent they be out on the street catching criminals instead of chasing people around riding quads not hurting anything? I wouldent run by my house, because there is not many people with sport quads on my road and they would know where to find me . How do you go about registering a quad?

  8. Listen to dave, he knows his shit. Also you have your timing advanced and your at sea level, so thats going to be a factor on what kind of octane you run. On the jetting, im thinking 360 mains and 30 pilots .

  10. Im not a big fan of the plug chop deal. I just throw in new plugs and run in threw all the gears and hold it WOT for about 6 seconds, pull in the clutch and kill it with the throttle pinned. Then take out the plugs and they should be papersack brown. On the plug chop I think the ring should be 2mm thick and brown also. IMO you should jet buy feel and a plug check.
  11. Im thinking a 300 main with 27.5 pilot for both of you. The shaved head does not effect your jetting, but may make you have to run a higher octane.
  12. So your saying you had it pinned in 6th for 30 seconds? That will seize your pistons if you do that alot. I never hold mine WOT for over 6 seconds. Did you rejet when you took your snorkel off?

  14. I would snatch that shee up for that price. Get a compression tester, then check the compression in each cylinder and we can tell you if its going to need a rebuild. Sell your warrior to buy some pipes, filter, and reed cages and you will shit yourself

  17. Im with him, I dident even rejet for my K&N filter, but went up about 4 main jet sizes when I took my snorkel and lid off.

  21. I would run 320's maybe 330's at the dunes, and 310's at your house. Also if you dont want to rejet for the dunes put the lid back on w/o the snorkel. Also you might try 27.5 pilots.
  22. How much will to take for the tires only, where are you located? BTW, a tire shop will charge maybe $4 to take them off.
  23. I would put some new plugs in there, if that doesnt work pull both the carbs off then you can take off the reed cages to check the reeds. Heres a good jetting and carb site Jetting FAQ.
