  1. Try leaning out your pilots. Here is a diagram on jetting. Say you change the main jet, it will affect the needle, so get the main jet dialed in and work down.
  2. You are a F***ing idot, go ahead and switch your plug wires and see how long your engine lasts. And no both pistons dont fire the same time....take your head off and look at them...there not at the same height (slowly kick the engine over and watch them) and the engine would work if they did anyway. BTW the shorter plug wire should go on the brake lever side, long on the shifter side.
  3. 310 mains sound perfect with the lid off, is yours? Im having the same problem, im at 320 mains, 30 pilot (going down to 27.5) and im having a bog in the mid range. I put on a coolhead with 21cc domes and that fixed it at 80 degrees, its going to be in the 90's next week. Also, I was talking to sandtrax in tulsa, and I told him my mods and everything and he said he would leave the pilot stock and put a dynojet needle in there. You might try leaning out the needle clip position.
  4. Any tire will wear like crazy on pavement. My holeshot xc's have lasted 8 months on flint rock and trails plus they hook up good.
  5. Some come with "perfect jets", but I would still do a plug check after you get it back together. I would go up a size on the mains if you took the snorkel off. Before you get pipes get a good airfilter (the more you clean your airfilter the longer your top end will last).
  6. It will raise your compression, but you still need to renew your top end. If your jugs are damaged, you will need to bore them some. You might be able to get away with just new rings thou.

  8. Try some engine ice....is it boiling over? If its running hot that can be a lean condition.

  15. how do you figure? 2in1 pipes will have alot more low end than pt mids, so will fmf gnarly's. The gnarly starts real low and almost has no top end. dg's suck pretty much crappy design, but a little better than stock i guess. fmf sst's are the shit for a stock engine IMO, good all around power, better than fattys.

  22. they suck...ive got a dyno sheet somewhere that compares 4 different reed cages....pyramid making less power than a ported stock reed cage.
