  1. It doesnt matter what dome size your running, it is the amount of compression you have. I think if you have over 170psi you have to run a mix. The higher you go up the lower you compression is. hittintrees srh- I think the vforce reed cages are adjustable, but I dont know how to adjust them so that might be why its running like shit. One might be set for low end and the other high . Also your compression sounds about right, what kind of porting and octane are you running?
  2. Im intrested in the K&N pod filters w/outerwears and 10 paddle paddles (size? tall).
  3. Thats sounds lean, even for a real hot day. I have the same setup, but with sst's and im at a 320 main at 1000ft.
  4. I did not do it any good, but might have hurt something inside you motor. Blueing on your pipes is caused by a lean condition. Type the town/citys name in a google search "(town name) elevation". Are you running it with your airbox lid off? snorkel on/off? Let us know your elevation and outside temps your going to be in.
  5. Take the lid off and take the two bolts at the back of the airbox out. Then losen the clamps from the back of the carbs. Take your radiator overflow tank off and I think you have to take your rear plastics off to do that. Now push the airbox toward the engine. There is a metal peice sticking out that the airbox has to clear before you can take it out.
  6. It sounds like you dont know what your talking about. How is running the best oils in the world going to make you engine blow? Race gas is for motors that have high compression and it also prevents your engine from blowing. You never change your tranny oil thats good for your gears. WTF are you talking about thats the only way I ride my banshee WOT everywhere I go. Nobody buys a banshee the pussy foot around on. Dream on man, no way a piped banshee (60% of banshees are) is going to keep up with a banshee with a mild port job . I run belray H1R synthetic, its like $12 a litter, but its good shit. I would never put cheap shit in my banshee, because you get what you pay for.
  7. what are you mods and pilot jet size?
  8. I would start with the 320 main like he said. What is your elevation and temp?
  9. What is your zip? Im thinking around $55 shipped.
  10. Nope, that is a bone stock banshee's jetting. Try a 310 main, stock pilot with the airbox lid off. Or a 270 main, stock pilot with just the snorkel off.
  11. Ive got two stock banshee front tires in good shape for $40+ship size 21-7-10
  12. Thats why I got mine, and for $40 off ebay thats hard to pass up. If you dont have one, get a nossmachine coolhead, they help alot.
  13. You have no idea what your talking about. On fmf's website they tell you to jet to a 260 main WITH JUST PIPES at sealevel. Im runing: fmf sst's and a k&n filter with the airbox lid off @ 1000 ft. above sealevel. Ive got in a 320 main and 30 pilot. My Banshee came from the factory with 220 mains
  14. I run 80w gearsaver, and order it from motosport outlet . I ordered $100 worth of h1r and gearsaver from them a month ago .
  15. Hit the "print screen" button above the arrow keys and then paste in paint shop.
  16. To me a properly setup trail banshee is anything with aftermarket rear tires . It will go anywhere a 4 stroke will go in the woods, and then kick their ass in a drag race .
  17. You will learn to ride a sport quad on the trails. Let say you dont want to high center over a log, when your front tires hit the log give it some gas to pop the front end up ride a wheelie over it. I dont know, but you might do your shock some harm ridding on it while its blown. Save up some chips and call elka or someone to get a price on a rebuild.
  18. Whats your elevation and temp? Try a 310 main stock pilot.
  19. I wouldent have one myself. They have good power, but are slow for a 500 and drive like a box. My stock banshee will take my friends down easy (even when my brother jumped on it) when we were stock. Get a pipe, revbox and ditch the airbox with a K&N clamp on to wake it up (that will pull my piped banshee on pavement after I get threw 6th). I hope your happy with your choice
  20. You can get a ricky stator adjustable timing plate for $35 new. Like most people said, get yourself a clymers manual ($25-30) and save yourself $175 to buy some reed cages or a aftermarket filter if you dont have one. You might not even have to rejet it...just put it on and use the choke trick to tell if you need to rejet. It would probley take me 4 hours to do it if you need to rejet. Rejetting the stock carbs is a bitch with the pos carb boots and tors box .
  21. I believe you, but my friend is full of it most of the time
  22. If she dident like him in the first place, why did you have to record some stuff he said so she doenst like him more? Thats what pissed him off. You have to watch the kids who do drugs, or anyone nowdays....if they pull a knife your screwed.
  23. My friend told me about it and I dident find it on there site, so I told him he was full of shit
  24. ... I love fights, we beat up some city boys that came down to the lake two weekends ago. Lets just say one of them kicked rocks at the Banshee and my friends blaster as we were riding by them.
