Thanks alot I'll try that I know that when I changed to V3 reeds I had to go from 280 down to 260 mains
-
I was just wondering if anybody is running this set-up Toomey T-6 Pipes Toomey 2-IN-1 filter V3 Reeds Stock carbs Cool Head Right now I'm running 260 mains with the clip in the middle, V3 reeds and I believe the pilots are stock. I just put on a Vito's hemi head with 21cc domes and I also want to put on the Toomey 2-in-1 filter. I was just wondering if I will be safe with the 260 mains as they are now. I live in Michigan whch is about 1000ft. above sea level

The Powroll Banshee Vented Air Box Lid The clips don't fit over the lid Cost is fifty dollars They tell you you have to bend and modify your airbox clips I never used it. I was hoodwinked!
-
Outerwears are designed to repell water but they are not waterproof I would ditch the outerwears for the airbox and use a outerwears over the filter.
-
Yeah I got ripped off on that Outerwears Airbox cover also. What I did is carefully drill two holes in my Outerwears cover, wear the hole tabs are. But it still does not secure it all that well around them tabs. The Velcro does not stick all that well. I think you are better off getting that Eddie Sanders Airbox Cover Lid, The Toomey 2-in-1 filter, The K&N Pod Filters, or just keep the OEM Airbox cover.

If you have stock pipes you will have to rejet your mains for more of that air. Heres what you do put on the Toomey 2in1 Filter-(has a cleaner look also) Take it for a test ride to see if it pops and bogs and stalls The mains in your carbs are 200 mains move up in increments of ten 210, 220, 230, 240 ect. We Just put the K&N pod filters on my buddies banshee and he has the stock pipes also and we went with 260 at first then 250 and settled with 240 mains

I would bite the bullet and get some triple rate or quad rate shocks for your shee. It is a night and day difference Most +1 forward +2 out arms will do the banshee justice. Just like I'm going to have to save my money for a -2 swing arm. I was going to keep my stock rear shock and have it revalved. I'm going to have to bite the bullet also and get a dual rate Elka shock for the rear total price around $1500. oh well keep saving. To bad these companies are not like "Best Buy, CC, Art Van, ect. with No Down payments, No Interest, No monthly untill 2007. That would be cool

Thanks for the tip I will try those things

I notice in November when I last rode the shee it was hard to get started. I had to put some heat on the motor from my topedo heater and then it finally started up. Yesterday I tried to start it again because I wanted to go riding indoors and it is being a bear to start. I don't think it is the compression, I don't think it is the rings does anyone also have problems getting there shee started sometimes In the summer the shee would fire up in three kicks Should I run a different plug like a BR9ES? later dudes and ladies

I have been think about upgrading my swing arm with a round house carrier, and I was wondering if anyone had Roger's Number for Fireball Racing. I want to see what his price is for a Black Powder coated Swing Arm.
-
Is the spring rate on the rear shock a dual rate? if it is a dual rate shock what make the elka, works, pep, ect. better than the stock one .

Thanks to everyone who has replyed, I don't know my compression numbers right off the top of my head but I do know My head is stock my cylinders are stock pistons are stock And I plan on getting a Vito's Hemi Head for Xmas and I want ot run 21cc domes with advanced timing of +3 or +4 for some more low end torque
-
If you are going to advance your timing to a +3 or +4 is it a given to run race gas or will 94 octane work? signed still learning all I can
-
Thinking about asking for a Noss Head for Xmas. I was wondering if 21 CC domes be sufficient enough for a stock motor with T-6 pipes. Right now all I run in it is 94 octane gas. That is the octane I will probaly continue t run in it, maybe 110 if I have the extra money to spend from time to time. But mostly 94 octane

My buddy is having the same problem with his shee. To answer your question it shoul still start if you unplug the TORs under the frame. On my buddies We changed the stator a speed shop said it could be a bad pulse generator. that was not it. Tested conpression, compression was good Tested Ingintion coil, because that has a kill switch on his shee also, that was not it. Tested cdi box by swapping one out of a shee that worked, that was not it We are now thinking he needs a new wiring harness, if it still does not want to start after the new harness. It could be something in that whole TORs setup He already bought a new stator, buying a new wiring harness. Let me know if you can figue it out It also might be better to post this in a different section on this site

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it. Let you know if it rips or not

My buddy is going to elim the airbox and get the K&N pod filters Carbs are stock Motor is stock Reeds are stock Live in Michigan might be a little above sea level Stock mains are 280 What mains will he have to put in his bike for the pods
-
Does K&N Make apod filter to fit on stock carbs if so do you also have to rejet your mains for seal level
-
What do people think about that Hemi Head by Vito's
-
CSA Cycle ski and atv 17 mile and mound 586-939-7433
-
If you get the tors removal kit you have to drill and tap into your existing carbs and I'm afraid I'm going to F that up also
