  1. what is the diameter of the Alba Arms as to the dia. to say Quicksands Arms
  2. If Elka works with all the Long Travel Mfg like (Roll Design, Jannsen, ATV 4-Play, SandDragon ect.) like they say they do why are Roll Design's Arms priced out of peoples range $3,000 over 1795. It seems to be a no brainer. I can't beleive extended testing would jack the price up that much. I'm really surprised they can charge that much for them.
  3. Just wondering if anybody know what the proper range is for a compression reading. Clymer says yamaha does not list compression readings
  4. The Banshee Superstore is asking for $400.00 for crank cases just wondering of anybody has crankcases that are in decent shape that are not cracked or hace a hole in it by the crank or rod
  5. Just wondering if anybody has crank cases for sale
  6. Cycle, Ski and ATV in Sterling Heights 586-939-7433
  7. Then what is the term bump steer everyone is talking about
  8. Can someone explain the benefits of LT arms over +2 +1 arms for a Banshee I want to get a set of arms but I'm totally confused as what to buy. Because when you are dropping over 2Gs on arms I want the most bang for my buck.
  9. I have alot to learn I thought LT arms were the way to go on all ATV's Now I'm lost once again I've been saving my money for either Jansens, ATV Fourplay, Eyeball Eng. LT arms. But know I read that the Banshee Frame Geometry does not support LT arms well. The long travels create bad bump steer (whatever bump steer is). Should I just get a set of Chrome +2 +1 Quicksand Arms with some wheel spacers. Someone please explain this to me like a six year old so I can understand better and make a smart choice.
  10. Do you have the thumb or twist throttle installed?
  11. Just get the boost bottle for the bling instead of that cheap u-shaped piece of crap it just looks better. It gives it that West Coast ATV Feel. Its all for looks but so is a chrome stator cover
  12. Symetrical reed petals on the V3 I heard the V2 have screws that could back out from vibration

  18. It seems like everyone prefers the Noss head on the forums over any other mfg. I was just wondering if anyone has a Vito's Hemi Head installed on there shee and if they like it or not

  22. Thank you for your input I will pass that along to him. So you would just use a gasket scraper and some oven cleaner clean off the old and put on a new head gasket torque the bolts in the right order and call it a day.
  23. My friends banshee has T-6 pipes, V-Force2 Reeds, Toomey Alum. Rad. and last year before he put on the new radiator his shee would run way hot and gurgle in the stock radiator. He rode it that way for awhile before we discovered that the impeller gear had melted to the back of the impeller shaft. After replacing the radiator and putting in a new impeller we noticed that it still seems to gurgle in the aluminum radiator and steam is coming out of the radiator overflow hose that ha been re-routed and zip tied to the steering stem about 2
  24. The best exhaust is the Toomey's T6, T5 in my opinion But almost everthing in this sport is all personal perferance From Reeds, Cool Heads, Pipes, ect. There are +'s and - 's from each mfg. on all there products.
  25. This is what I know about jetting and plugs. First let the shee warm up to proper operating temp. Let it idel for a while. Then find a nice area to get hrough all the gears and when your in six gear for awhile pull in the clutch and switch the red switch to the off position and coast to a stop. let the cylinder head cool down take out your plug and take a look. If anybody has heard differnetly let us know.
