  1. Totally off the subject but where do you ride in Brownstown. I just moved to that neighborhood.
  2. My went to install reed spacers on his shee, but fell victim to the dreaded Yamaha Strip. He stripped the threads where the reeds go into the jugs. I also fell victim to the strip when I drained my coolant for the first time and the bolt you loosen to drain the coolant out of the jug stripped when I went to put it back in. I guess thats why the Clymer Manual has a section on retapping threads. Has any else had these problems. Is it just poor craftmanship? Its just a 30min reed spacer job turned into a nightmare!! really blows!,sucks, stinks, it's a drag, no fun, oh well may the Banshee Gods be with everyone when they do simple bolt-on projects peace.
  3. I got mine from TM DesignWorks its the poly type
  4. Thanks everyone you all been very helpful.
  5. Does anybody run that Trinity C.V. Single Carb Kit? It looks pretty cool just curious, if it runs well or if it easy to work with than two carbs. I would like to upgrade my carbs later on, and I saw that item or the 28mm dual carbs

  7. I'm thinking about upgrading my a-arms to Janssen or ATV Four Play Just wondering if they are made of good quality In a perfect world I would prefer the Roll Design Lobo II ARMS or So.-Cal Fabs A-Arms but for $3,200 and up, I think I would rather spen only about $2,200 and save a grand

  10. Thanks for making me feel a little better. I thought I might have to get a 4poke.
  11. Don't forget to buy a new crankcase gasket also. My buddies impeller failed also the white plastic gear totally melted to the green fan part of the impeller. You might want to buy a Prodesign EZ drain while you are at it, becauseif you drain the anitfreeze out of the cylinder jug bolt that small 8mm or 10mm bolt that is located on both sides of the cylinders has a tendency to strip out also. Just some more preventitive maintenence. Bluetraxx.com has a tutorial on how to change the impeller
  12. With 2006 being the last production model of the Banshee, do you think aftermarket companies like Trinity, RMW Billet, Lonestar, and others will stop making replacement parts for the Banshee? Are we all screwed? I sure hope that is not the case. There is nothing like the sound of those twin 2-stroke carbs firing up ps anybody in MI want to go to ProSource Indoor.
  13. Is there any sites with pics and good direction on how to eliminate the T.O.R.S Trying to get rid of some unnecessary items but don't want to "F" anything up in the process. Also want to keep my thumb throttle for now

  22. Pro Source is an indoor track in Tecunseh MI http://www.prosourcesuzuki.com/event_promo.htm yes it is open to the public They have races on Saturday but open practice on Sundays from 10am to 5pm also some days during the week Each class of riders get 10 minutes on the track Quads go out first for 10 minutes then 80cc riders for 10 min, 125 riders for 10 min ect. until it cycles back to the quad riders again
  23. Just wondering if any Michigan winter riders have been to the Pro Source in Brooklyn Michigan. I went a couple of weeks ago. I plan on going again me and my buddy went and we were the only two quads there. So we got the track all to ourselves for ten minutes until it was the next group turn. It helps with the winter riding jones if you don't want to deal with the Wind Chill Factor.

  25. Besides the Eric Gorr's videos, is there any site dedicated with pictures on how to do a top end rebuild on a Banshee? I have a 2003 Shee just wondering when I'm going to have to do a rebuild on her. I guess if you race it you would want to rebuild as often as you could.
