  1. People will say it's too much, but I run 350 mains with somewhat similar setup. Is this a new problem? Had it previously ran ok?
  2. Big bowls and no pump. If you do want a pump the round one is fine. Make sure needle and seats are correct as mentioned. Assuming 300' racing.
  3. Dome issue aside, yea you need a longer swing arm. I rode mine with a stock swinger and it would wheelie on gravel roads (while blowing the tires off) at will while sitting on the tank.
  4. WK was a very reputable shop. Same guy is Empire Industries now.
  5. I'll sell a 421 Cub complete motor for $2000 if you want it.
  6. That's the cheapest I've seen. Thanks
  7. Anywhere where it's not $0.50 a round? I may just buy a regular 22. Just for target practice anyway.
  8. I haven't been able to find this locally in forever. Does anyone have an online suggestion?
  9. Sometimes I have to use pliers to turn it.
  10. Oem Raptor fibers are commonly used.
  11. Parachute ftw!!
  12. No sealant should be needed on stock gaskets and stock cylinders. Some people do put yamabond on then though. Aftermarket cylinders have more porosity and inconsistencies and may need sealant though.
  13. Unless you've got some aggressive port work normally 30 pilots are too big for most. Look for air leak as mentioned.
  14. If the needles are set at 48.5 mm that's a reasonable starting point. You have to unscrew them to make it leaner. Make sure that the needle is turning out of the holder (for lack of a better word). Then push the needle and holder back into the slide and turn both to put the round part of the needle toward the back of he carb. It also never hurts to measure it to make sure that it actually turned. It should be longer than 48.5 mm after you turn it out.
  15. There are no pilot screws or pilots jets on Lectrons.
  16. If it won't clean out in neutral you're gonna have to lean out the needles. Turn them out 1/4 turn at a time. Assuming pe1 needles.
  17. Just keep turning in the power jet until it runs clean. Are your plugs gapped to 0.018"? Will it clean out before the run?
  18. Did you measure the roll out or is that what was advertised when you bought the tires? You're gonna need about a 14/43 or 14/44 to run 300 ft assuming you have a 2-5 override. If you're just grudge racing and going farther than 300' go with a 14/42. jmo.
  19. Do they wet the track at all? Is it tacky? I'd at least try some pro wedges on some 8x9 wheels if so. Low psi.
  20. Orings don't have to come from Noss. If you can measure your old ones or if someone knows what size they are you can get at a hardware store or online at MSC or Grainger. Just be sure to get Viton. I've used 68 mm Cub orings in bigger bores before. There wasn't enough difference to matter on my particular motor. Don't know about the Super Cub.
  21. You'll probably go faster with a 16 or 18 set up right.
  22. Yep. Email him the specs and you get domes in about 2 days.
  23. I have a 421 Cub drag race ready with carbs and pipes for $3000
  24. Bad stator can cause that.
  25. Calvin always said this ^^^^^ Menz tested with and without pipes on his motor and made zero difference he said.
