  1. Honestly, it would cost you less to get your head milled than I'd sell mine for. Mine's not milled a lot. It maybe adds five or ten lbs compression. Any decent machine shop can mill your stock head. I know I'm kind of steep on the price of the silencers. but like I said, I hate to break them up. Ya know what I mean. You've got a set of headers, but no silencers now.
  2. 150 plus shipping. I think my file is too big to post. If I break up the set, the headers will be more difficult to sell.
  3. These are the pipes.
  4. 150 bucks. and thanks Banshee~ for the positive post. You;ve got some more mods don't you,.since then any way. Still liking the ATV offroad fury!! I rarely play my ATV 2, but its still kick ass.
  5. I've got Boyesen Rad valves with Carbon Fiber Reeds. $100 Bucks plus shipping.
  6. I've got some Toomey T5s exactlyl in that price range. See my post in the for sale forum.
  7. Chrome T5s/silencers: $250 plus shipping. Blue around the heads. Head pipe brackets have broken and been welded. One needs to be welded again. No dents. Still shine pretty good (besides the blue) when cleaned up. PWK 30 mm carbs: $150 plus shipping. Throttle cable and twist throttle included. Barely a year old. Stock 0.020 over cylinders/heads: $175 plus shipping. Mild clean up port job. Milled head. Will include pistons (used) for $40 extra. This top end has 180 psi in each cylinder with my 20 cc domes, so it can be put together and ran as is. Motor still together, so I don't have pics. I'll be tearing it down this weekend. My drag ported cheetah cubs are on the way!!!!!! Also: Boyesen Rad Valve and Pro Series Carbon Fiber reeds (retail well over $200). I'll take $100. Barely a year old. Changing to V-Force. Will take $600 for all parts together. OR I'd like to trade for some in frame CPIs or something similar or some PWK 35 mm carbs or other good 35 mm carbs.
  8. I have seen a set of the old Toomeys (T3? T4?) for J-Arm banshees hit A-arms on newer Banshees.
  9. I run 16/41 on 21? inch holeshots, and it pulls fine on top. Takes a long time for 6th gear to get completely wound out, but in the trails, you could just let 'er rev out in 4th or 5th and still be rolling and use 6th for flying down open roads. The stock chain will work. Just have to loosen it all the way, and kind of force it on the sprocket. It will stretch after 1 ride.
  10. Thaaaat's the word I was looking for. Thanks.
  11. I don't know from experience, but it sounds like the clutch push rod has welded itself to lever on the case. I've seen it mentioned many times, you may do a search for faster info.
  12. My timing plate came loose and the stator and plate rubbed the flywheel for a little while. I tightened the plate and it runs fine. I can see where the stator had rubbed. In your case,I would try to do something to keep the coil from continuing to rub the flywheel, though. Worse case scenario would probably just be continued stator damage, and you'd have to buy a new one.
  13. What's your compression?
  14. still got the motor? If so I'll make an offer. [email protected]
  15. Get on it with a piece of pipe or brass rod (forgot what the brass rod is called), heat it if necessary and BEAT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF IT!!!!
  16. The Vitos kit is a twin cylinder in one block. The term monoblock is misleading, I know. I've decided that Vito's is crap anyway. Besides what everyone has said, I've got a friend that bought a Fat Bastard pipe for a blaster from them and the chrome is peeling off after 1 day of riding! Need more opinions on porting and SSTs, though. Many have said that it shouldn't be done. I even remember the thread talking about TR6s and why they shouldn't be ran on ported cylinders, but don't remember if it was definitive as to whether SSTs are ok. Thanks all.
  17. I have a friend looking at buying this. Help me talk him out of it. He has FMF SSTs, K&N, and Boyesen reeds/cage. He doesn't want to go the port route because it seems he cannott keep his SSTs if he does that. He was told by the Vito's rep that he could keep his SSTs with this kit. Can he get a woods or mx port and run FMF SSTs? Has anyone done this? Also, as far as what I've decided for mine, I'd like to buy some stock cylinders and send them off to Eric Gorr, so I can keep riding on mine. I've got my YFZ , but I'm a sucker and let my broke buddies ride it
  18. Thanks for correcting me.
  19. NOSS NOSS NOSS NOOOOOSSSSSSS
  20. COMPRESSION?? In absence of any other changes, I'd say its rebuild time.
  21. Not that I'm doubting you, but aren't V-force Reeds Vito's? I'll probably just get a good mx or woods port, maybe stroke it, don't know yet.
  22. vitos website click here Scroll about half way down the page, and you'll see the Monoblock kit.
  23. I'll check out ericgorr.com. Anyone know the turnaround time on porting my cylinders with gorr? Also..I'm looking at the Vitos 68mm monoblock kit. Comes with everything and keeps a broad powerband, for 1595.00..ready to bolt on. Supposed to be up to 90 hp at rear wheels. Anyone have this??
