  1. Dual rate = 2 different spring rates Triple rate = 3 different spring rates A resivour (sp?) is simple a way to sepertate the nitrogen and oil more effectively, plus give you added oil capacity, which promotes better cooling and less "fade", plus compression adjusters can be added to them easily. For great shocks call Todd @ TCS (909) 245-7484
  2. Those are not TCS, they are Kings, King can / will build anything you want.
  3. Oakley O Frames Bar F'ing None!! I ordered mine directly from Oakley for around $30, then ordered a nice iridium lens for another $30, but you can get darker lenses for only $5. Most comfortable, best choice of lenses and very scratch resistant, but the tear-offs are easy insurance to a clean view. Once you go Oakley, nothing else comes close. They're single lens and that's all you really need. Dual lens are good for cold climates and activities like skiing or snowmobiling where the temp varies a lot. You won't need that for quads unless you live in a cold climate and ride your quad in the snow all winter. I'll second that. I wear them too. I wear glasses and they even fit right over them, beats buying a OTG (over the glasses) type of goggle where options are limmited. You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses would you?
  4. I'd like to see what your talking about.
  5. I'll play devils advocate and say get the shocks, the stockers won't survive long with those arms, plus it will be a smaller investment later for the pipes. I'd take suspension travel over power any day of the week.
  6. Well put. Congrats to you & Britt. North Carolina??? WTF???
  7. If my math is correct........let me see........carry the 1.........multiply my 2.....tax.........shipping.......YES, 2 carrat DIAMOND ring costs WAY more than a set of rear BL wheels (your wife had the same math teacher as mine) you at least need to get the matching set for the front
  8. Sorry to hear that Led. My Dad had a bought with them a few years back, so I hear you. Aren't you a little young for those? A good reason to drings LOTS of beer and flush them out, hope you get to feeling better.
  9. How about some dyno sheets to go along with those BIG HP #'s ? ? ?
  10. Just did, I'm back...
  11. Tank looks good, saw his post about it earlier. Keep up the good work, I'm anxious to see the final product 185s right? to battle all the atc 70's from the GD.com crew I'm guessing.
  12. He seems to be a pretty straight up guy, thanks B370, you a member over at GD.com?
  13. I'm game for that....
  14. No problem, plans are plans. Sounds like you have everything taken care of, hell best I could offer would be a place to park, and a few cold beers. If things change my offer still stands.
  15. Thanks, but in my complete lack of patience I already posted over at glamisdunes.com, just looking for all the information I can get....Still not sure if I could get past the looks, but thank you.
  16. Walt, you & your group are more than welcome to come and camp with us . My wife and I have a 26 month old, my main Glamis buddie and his wife have a 17 month old. It really is not that bad unless you go looking for that type of thing. Wallrat & his wife stayed with us last season (not on T-day) and can vouch for what I've said.....I hope? I would tend to think that Dumont and it's small size, proximity to "SIn City" would be even worse than Glamis.
  17. Been there lots of times, not as steep as "The Wall", how about "Jet Crash" ever been there? Good looking bike BTW.
  18. Sand tires Ultd. is the company (they are well known in the sand rail industry) You're right they look like a cut down version of a sand rail rear paddle tire. Nick & Dane from Sand Addicition are running them too, was just looking for some un biased feedback. they look funny as hell.
  19. I duned in Coos Bay back in JULY of 2000, a friend that lives in Bend was getting married, man it was awesome (yes in July) I need to get back up there.
  20. What is all this talk about Dumont for T-day? GLAMIS is the place to be...
  21. Welcome, what area of the dunes do you ride at? Lets see some pictures of the bike.
  22. Mikes bike turned out really nice - for a Honda. Do you know what is up with the rear paddles he is running? any info / feed back on them?
  23. I would guess 400 feet or so.
  24. Thats what I figured, but was just curious. Damb, you spent some $$. All I bought was some T-shirts and a new tow strap for me, sweatshirt for the wife, and a small "Got Sand?" T-shirt for my son, oh and a bunch of those $6 beers....
