  1. RAPOR SOLD!!! Price reduced on banshee. $2950 FIRM
  2. 2002 raptor 660r, Emergency funds needed and forced to sell. Stage II cam, T4 pro circuit FULL exhaust, stock tires and rims with about 40% left on rear tires, lone star brake calipers, it is a GYT-R bike with an aftermarket decal kit and seat cover, pro flow, pro design intake manifold with pro flow filter, head lights, tail lights, and brake lights all work perfectly. AC Aluminum nerf bars with black nets. Bike starts and runs, perfectly, and will sit there and idle all day like a dream. Sounds awesome too... $3500 1998 drag banshee. Started building this bike about 8 months ago and lost interest. Engine is basically stock but bored .30 over with wiseco light weights, boyeson pyramids reeds, less than 30 hours on rebuild. I've got a brand new bolt kit for the engine that rids the bike of those damn screw driver type heads and now has allen wrench style heads. pro flow pro design intake manifold with brand new k&n filter and outerwear. Plastics are 2002 design, billet grill, gas cap, and oil dipstick. Tires and rims are stock off of a 2002 and have about 95%+ tread left. New front and rear sprockets and chain. New clutch cable and swingarm pivot bearings. Trinity out-frame drag pipes, 8" extended Tyson swingarm with 8" extended steel braided brake line. I'm a K-state graduate so the flaming power cat decals are my favorite part but they don't have to stay. This bike is extremely loud and gets all the looks it deserves....$3500 Both bikes were recently powerwashed and cleaned up. Both look great. Absolutely hate to sell, however, priorities, priorities, priorities. Many more details on each bike. I'm not that dependable at answering PM's or responding to thread replys so email me. sandcrazy60@hotmail.com or call 785-221-4086 Pictures can be seen at http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=3470905093
  3. Thats what I was wondering. Thought maybe they came off of something like a blaster or warrior. Probably a pretty universal part. Thanks guys. SC
  4. bought a trinity 2:1 setup from a guy but he didn't send a throttle cable. Anybody have a cable for a 35mm keihein carb or the whole twist setup? Let me know what you got.
  5. I don't know what I was thinking. I meant to put this thread in swap and trade. Anyway, let me know either way
  6. This is where I meant to put it. Sorry... I've still got my full set of wheels. Rear wheels are off of a 98 with 90%+ tread and the fronts are about 50% tread on aftermarket offset rims. Front rims could be cleaned up pretty good. The bead on one rim is a little beat up but the other is in good shape. Run straight and do not wobble. I'd like to get a 2:1 carb setup, preferably trinity, but let me know what you got. Pictures of the wheels are on imagestation under the link in my signature. Will separate them if necessary.

  8. I'm sure there is someone out there who knows a lot more than I do also, like I said these projects didn't last long but you learn so much as you go along. The motors came in the buggies but they were out of a couple of vw bug cars. The transmissions were both out of vw buses and I think that is the best way to go tranny wise. They are stronger and last longer. With the motors I had there was no way I was ever going to be able to get the front end up. Even on the side of a dune it just lacked the ponies. With a lighter front end and a bigger motor, like I said 1835 and up, wheelying and manipulating the wheely with turning brakes would be alot easier. I had a problem with even climbing dunes and reaching top speed with my motors. Please note, however, that these motors were completely stock and straight out of the cars. I do not know the potential of them but I've been told the the 1835 is an all around good motor, horsepower wise and they have a lot of potential for mods.
  9. Last year I "invested" in a couple of these buggies. They came dirt cheap so I picked them up. The only thing I have to say is definitely go bigger than a 1600. They both had these engines and they might as well have been 5 horse briggs motors back there. They had absolutely no power. I realize I probably could've put some mods on to make them a little more snappy but the 1835 and up motors are just awesome to work with and use. As for parts, I did alot of shopping through the Hot VW's magazine (they also have an online site www.hotvws.com) and I went to a buggies forum for info and parts swapping (www.dune-buggy.com) Good luck with the rails, I had fun with them, I just wish they were a little cheaper to build.
  10. You're doing it right. in-lbs are just ft-lbs multiplied by 12.

  12. Pipes have sold. Wheels and nerfs still available. Will go on ebay this week if there are no takers. Thanks.
  13. http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287546351 You've got to copy and paste the link for it to work. Make offers.
  14. T5's are showing their use but have absolutely no dents or holes and still sound awesome! The nerfs are also very used but come with everything to mount except the crossbar clamps that clamp them to the frame. I can separate the wheels if neccessary. The rear wheels are off of a 98 and have about 90%+ tread left and are in very good condition. The fronts have, I'm guessing, about 40-50% tread left and are on aftermarket offset rims. They are pretty beat up but run straight and do not wobble. Ask me anything, I have extra close up and personal pictures of the wheel tread if anyone wants. Thanks. I will figure out imagestation shortly and have pictures up. This site is saying I can't upload this kind of file...stay tuned.
