  2. the clutch locking washer broke, caused the nut to losen. the whole clutch basket assembly shifted over and threw the clutch out of alignment. so it was a 3 dollar washer. not the ball/rod. i will be adding the pancake bearing and a shift pro mod while im in there.

  5. ok guys, so i finally get a chance to ride my passion stroker. first of all the bike ripps....i got about 40 minutes into my ride when i starting stalling when coming to a stop. i checked the clutch cable adjustment and it wasnt moving the clutch arm as much as it should. so i adjusted my lever enough to pull some more slack to get home and about 2 minutes before i got home i had no clutch what so ever. i kept it in 2nd gear and got home. now that i am off the bike, i pull the clutch lever in and watch the arm and it moves all the way it should but there is no tension on the lever what so ever. i am guessing this has to be internal...which sucks because i just got the bike back. any ideas on where to start?
  6. go to a 1/4 mile track and run it...and bam you got your top speed. dont go by gps ....my gps said i did over 220mph on my 600rr that tops out at about 160-170ish. or use the gps get a 125mph reading than go sell your bike on ebay
  7. so who has the cheapest rim/tire combo.....wouldnt mind getting some new rims...only makes sense since 95% of the rest of the bike is brand new

  11. just like the title says, what do you guys perfer? i ride a little bit of everything.....fireroads, grass fields some sand, maybe an mx track 1 or 2 times a year.......just looking for some nice all around tires
  12. yea i had to go to the man to finish up the project. i was thinking about selling it, the farthest i got was making some posts on here, never actually spoke to someone about buying it. so i dont think it was the one zach is talking about. on;y pic i have on this computer is this one: at this point i dont think i want to sell it. i was hard up for cash a while back but now all i want to do is ride. if i do plan to sell it NYUK definitly has 1st dibs
  13. pics on the shocks/arms....what type of arms are they?
  14. thinking about doing some suspension. i plan to go +2+1 wicked arms and cant decided on a shock. i was looking into regular works, works with rezzies or elkas with out rezzies. the 2ns 2 are priced fairly close, with the 1st option as my bang for the buck shock. so whick ones should i go with. it will be set up for a trail/mx/drag/play bike. lol i dont like to do one thing. i think it might see an mx track maybe 2-3 times a year. oo and i have a +4 axle also. thanks guys
  15. ok guys, i have no time, to finish my banshee, its pretty much all done, all that needs is chain/sprockets, jetting, plasticss skids and some other little stuff. it has all the goodies, passion 12 port fully gussetted frame, ect...... anyway i was looking for someone experienced to finish it up for me......you know bolt on all the other parts, jet it and get it ready to ride. i would be willing to pay for your services with cash/parts or a combination of parts depending on the deal we have. i will supply all parts needed including pick up and delivery.....so who is up for the task
  16. posting a feeler for my banshee, its completly restored with a bunch of new parts, i have about 10k into it from top to bottom. some parts include but are not limited to: motor: passion 12 port 4mm stroker forged internals noss head with 18cc domes hinson clutch basket and plate cpi in frame pipes billet impellor shift star mod +4 timing plate lightened flywheel barnett clutch with 3 heavy springs delta 2 reeds pj 34mm carbs with k&n clamp on custom wiring harness Chassis: gusseted frame powder coated frame/swingarm/dogbone/steering stem/axle housing full set of black maier race cut plastics chrome grill avs levers dual throttle cable throttle/brake chrome caps renthal bars ac propegs gforce +4 axle ims front bumper all new bearings/covers grease zerks in axle housing and swingarm rims: 2 sets of stock rims with itp holeshots/realtors plus alot more i am forgetting i dont really have a set price, just looking to finish up some other projects. like i said, all parts are BRAND NEW never used never left my garage. i only have one pic on this computer, i can take more for serious buyers.

  20. i just filled my rear master cylinder with dot3....now i see the manual says to use 4.......is this a problem? can i leave it or should i order some new fluid?
  21. does anyone know what case saver can fit a 16 tooth front sprocket? or which one can be sanded down to fit one. thanks
  22. the small like off the head? or the thicker one??? they both go to the top of the radiator
  23. i lost my stock hangers......i am installing cpis, will any hanger work or are there certain ones i should use? i see some are straight and some are angled/notched
  24. which line should i tap into for a temp guage?
  25. so maybe i should have went 15 40......i just bought these too
