  1. Yes, all CPI pipes are stamped now. Cept the Big Bore Outta Frames.
  2. The "Boyesen" ports in jims 12 port are much larger than the typical added boyesen. He welds the outside of the cylinders up and cuts thru the original casting into the weld. I'm not saying they are larger than a set of cub boyesens, cause I don't really recall how large mine were...its been a while. But, I am saying that its worth a try to add some larger reed spacers.
  3. Jesus is on the dashboard?
  4. I also never mentioned that i have red label douglas not blue. Could this be affecting the problem? I doubt it..it doesnt make that much of a diff.

  6. both work well!
  7. With 15/38 gearing you would have to be turnning at least 13,000rpm in 3rd to be running 79mph...

  9. I wouldnt worry about shiftin to 6th. Gear your bike for 1-5. 6th is a long jump from 5th....could make you bog.
  10. 200 meter? sounds like a pretty long drag strip...hope there is a lot of shut down room.
  11. 68mm bore is not stock..68mm bore uses blaster pistons
  12. looks to be a KX500 motor....not sure tho.
  13. No ATV's
  14. Those fuel fragrances are OK I guess...something about it tho..make me wanna puke..........
  15. PWK's are a newer model than the PJ's. More technology went into making the PWK. PJ is still a good carb tho.
  16. The Shearer are deff. a good pipe. They pull harder than the CPI once you get moving. But the CPI leave the line MUCH harder than the shearer. My brother had a set of shearers last year, while I was running the CPI. Our bikes were set up basically the same (421 cub) and we built both motors at the same time. Mine would jump him pretty good out of the hole,he would slowly gain on me the whole track, but by the time we crossed the finish line it was too late. Mine would outrun him prolly 4 out of 5 passes. Dont get me wrong, the shearer are an awsome pipe. You could tell they pull harder after jumping off mine and on to his. The CPI would just jump it to much off the line to catch up...Perhaps a slight change in gearing may have helped him out?
  17. I have some 28mm PWK's with less than 10hrs on them. PERFECT CONDITON, they look like new. I'll take $175 + shipping
  18. Polo IL?.... They have AMA motorcycle hillclimb there also. Very rough hill!

  23. I think it sounds pretty cool, especially for performance parts! looks to me like you lucked out on having the last name Noss.
  24. You could prolly run without one for a while (I did), but its gonna catch up with you real quick. I ran mine about 40 passes on the strip with a brand spankin new clutchin it before I put one on. I couldnt tell that it was slipping any by riding it. But when I installed my lockup I inspected the plates to check the condition, and it had apparently been slipping cause my steels were turning blue.
