  1. dont forget bug repellent and pack a lunch.
  2. I'm not a shock scientist either just wanted to say they look sweet. -my guess would be that if the nut was tightened down the spring would be stiffer.
  3. welcome what kinda arms you got? If they are stock, I don't think the ball joints are replacible. -but I know you can replace the bushings. check out this parts finder for stock stuff. http://www.xtremepowersports.com/index.html goodluck and let us know how it goes, hate to hear from you later telling us you lost a wheel ridin'.
  4. it's a bitch. i did mine the old fashion way w/out a pump . told myself i'd buy one of those little pumps the next time. sure enuff tore a line and was pumpin that bitch again by hand. this is what i did. I had a quick grip -it's a trigger type clamp that holds like 2 objects together until you release it. acts as a 3rd hand. I bleed one brake at a time.took a clear tube, made a loop and submerged it into an extra brake fluid bottle -to prevent drawning air.and attached the other end to the bleeder valve. pump the lever about 20-30 times hold it w/ the clamp, crack open the bleeder valve let the fluid pour out then tighten it before you release the lever.the fluid will push the air out. as long as your diaphram has a good seal and you are not allowing any air to reenter the system your lever will stiffen. but if you have a pump you should be able to attach it to your bleeder and pull fluid /air thru the system. pretty quick. keep the level up in your resivor! goodluck and be patient.
  5. How much to polish my knob? j/k I couldn't resist. I'll put the word -bunch of my friends want to get there stuff cleaned up for spring.
  6. My arms are 2 out and 1 forward on each side and I have a lsr axle +4 . It's tighter than the blaster but then again we make our trails wide anyways. not too many dirt bikes ride w/ us let alone help us make new trails. the little extra width and any shocks but stock makes such a big difference. ...but getting back to 'captain's question I would go for it but maybe keep a back up swinger since the dunes will only be a once a year thing. -I think the shorter swinger would make hillclimbs alittle trickyer.
  7. Dr David Warren of the Aeronautical Research Laboratories in Melbourne, Australia invented the "Black Box" flight data recorder. He was the first person to conceive of the idea of recording the rider's conversation on an ATV and of protecting that recording in the event of a crash or fire. The purpose of the Black Box was to help identify the reasons for a crash, by recording any clues in the rider's conversation. The Black Box was invented in 1953 and in production by 1957. The first ones were painted bright red or orange to make them easier to find after a crash. In 1960, Australia became the first country to make flight recorders mandatory in ATV. j/k, are you talking about the CDI unit?
  8. We have tons of mud in Southern Maryland. Spider Tracs in the back.
  9. I mostly ride trails and can say that the -2 makes it easier to pop the front up if you want to get over stuff or wheelie into stuff to avoid over the bars situation like sudden drop offs. feels more confident when you take tight turns in trails and waitin for the ass to follow thru. feels more predictable when jumpin-you don't have to be as high in the revs. And the best thing is you'll have 2 inches less to clean after a muddy ride. fars as dunes I couldn't help you and don't want to sound like a dumbass trying to guess.
  10. Damn thanks loco, I 've been w/ imagestation for some time and never knew that. I need to start working on that.

  18. Dig a big hole a make a false floor. j/k I was thinking of digging a hole drop portion of chain into and fill w/ concrete then from there chain both together. only problem is as many locks I got to slow em down a good set of bolt cuttters will slice thru all in seconds. I like the baby monitor. and if you get into motion detectors you can actually have a small camera come on -that would come in handy if your not at home. my stuff is packed in the trailer w/ the back door up against the house, lock on the hitch thing and all chained to the meter just to make a nice light show.
  19. cut 'em up -you'll be happy you did.
  20. does that include prep or just painting?
  21. Never a bad idea to add some gussets and eliminate some stock tabs that your not using. -since you went thru all the effort in rippin her apart when you get her all back together you don't wanna be wishin' you did. goodluck and get some pics.
  22. far as colors I've heard of a glow in the dark line x type. kinda crazy. maybe under the frame would be nice for trail riding but i don't know about the plastics.
  23. " you have a pretty patriotic shee. " you had me thinkin for a minute on that one until i rolled back to my pic. now I realize that my shee looks like a freekin' greek flag...but that's cool
  24. well I havent rode w/ anything better than works and stock so I cannot give you really good answer, maybe someone else can chime in that has experienced different brands can help.
