  1. Great seller! Took care of me a couple of times. Would deal with again.
  2. Thanks. I hope I didn't make my question confusing. The whole mystery is that the main thing that was changed is the pistons and supposedly the new jets that came with it. I also put a new set of silencers on because he had a set hanging at the shop and mine had a dent in one but I don't think that changed much. Another wierd thing is that she starts right up but seems to rev higher until warm up. Bogs more down low but pulls much stronger up high. Thanks for all the replies and I'm gonna take it back up to the shop and check into bigger pilots -hopefully that will smooth out the hesitation. I ride alot of trails and she just aint right for trails like this.
  3. Rode all day today. She rips from 1/2 throttle and up but bogs like the choke is pulled anything less. Should I wait till spring to deal with this because it is gonna start getting cold here for the next 2 months. Today was odd for this time of year, upper 60s. And I know it doesn't help not knowing what size jets are in there but w/ my little list of mods can someone guess as to were I should be on the size and setting? Or do you guys think it could be as simple as tunning the carbs? reading the trouble shooting in this section I guess it has to be the pilot circuit or slide valve. I guess I need to determine what size pilot should be in there. And w/ 2 carbs it makes everything even more complicated and me more nervous to start adjusting something for the first time. any recommendations would be appreciated. Nicky
  4. ...I was always told "if it smells like fish eat it but if it smells like cologne leave it alone"
  5. Damn it why do you have to do this when I am broke? Oh well if the shock is still available when I find some cheese I'll pm you
  6. I recently had a new set of weisco ported super stock pistons put in and they sent a new jet kit to go w/ it. I have a friend that owns a local bike shop and he did all the work. I already forgot what size jets I am running but I can tell you that I have Pro Circuit pro plat. headers and a brand new set of Pro Circuit 304 silencers. K/N filter w/ stock lid on but w/ 6 of those mini filter circles you pop on your lid after drilling it out. Stock carbs. Don't know how far above the sea level I am but I live in southern Maryland. Run my gas 32:1. Plug reading is a nice color.New dirt digger clutch. Anyways my problem is that it seems like my whole power curve has changed. Pulls much stronger when the powerband kicks in -Hard to keep the wheels on the ground now but I think my bottom has suffered. I have to keep the revs up when putting around. 1/4 throttle seems like choke pulled out after warm up. I took her back up to the shop and he dialed in the carbs alittle better. I said I wanted to bump up the compression with a cool head w/ 20cc domes and maybe try those new vforce 3 reeds. He said that would help my bottom and also said my stock reeds were in good shape. Oh I almost forgot I have a moose boost bottle. What do you guys think? Did anyone notice a difference when using these pistons? fars as throttle response what can I do to improve it? Or should I stop acting like a pussy and ride this bitch wot like she wants me too? Any help would be appreciated and hopefully I posted this in the right section. Nicky
  7. I wonder if he will include the chain slider now that the bids are up so high. Just another example of how greed will get you nothing.

  9. A bit late to post it but oh well. Let me know if anyone can use it if it does not sell http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMESE%3AIT
  10. Good to know there are still some honest people. ...It might just be a quad thing because we know how much passion we have for our bikes and see ourselves in that person's shoes. The reason I say that is because I would of done the exact same thing but now if I saw a stack of $100.00 bills in the sand I sure in the hell wouldn't go into town asking anyone if they dropped it. None the less your a good person and something positive will come back at 'cha
  11. A while back someone on here made there own and attached a clear piece of lexan. Don't remember how they did it, I guess they just started cutting away then glued a clear piece on. It would be hard for me to find it but maybe someone else has a better memory than me-that's not saying much
  12. sorry to hear about your loss. Try ebay you might find someone that might be trying to build a shee and the stock stuff is all they might be able to afford at the time. Did I say "might" too many times? Oh well Good luck.
  13. I have 2 enclosed trailers I would like to trade or sell to end up w/ 1 larger enclosed trailer. I'm thinking 7x14 or a little bit bigger to be able to fit Banshee, Blaster and eton 90. I need to dbl check but my sizes are 5x8 (which is acting as an extra shed now)and 6X12 the 6X12 actually fits the Blaster (sideways), Banshee and the 90 on a handmade rack above the Blaster but I'd feel more comfortable w/ the right size trailer. I have pics and tomorrow I will measure both and edit this post. ...on here I have many pics http://www.bluetraxx.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=85756
  14. PM sent I have 3-7
  15. Still have the axle? ...If so, how much shipped to 20657?
  16. Click on his other items he is supposedly selling, he has a few more quads going for 1900. What a piece of shit. I would love to see someone like that get there ass whipped.
  17. erik6767: I think your getting the wrong impression about this site basing it on a couple of people picking on you. This is the best place to be when you need help troubleshooting when something is wrong with your Banshee. If it bothers you so bad, get a friend to make a video of you going thru the gears then pulling it up. I think that would be a more mature thing to do then argue and throw gas back on the fire. Personally, I think all of the posts of bitching at each other should be pulled out of here and thrown in the roosting room because zero of it is helping Turbobanshee_kid with his wheelies.
  18. Here is some slow Blaster wheelies...still working on the Banshee. But if your trying to do slow ones here is some sitting / standing. It's a bit harder on a 2 stroke to do but listen to the throttle and watch the brake/clutch.Actually my brakes suck so bad you can even listen to the brakes too! Far as fast ones just lock in on your balance point and ride it out adjusting w/gas and sometimes a little bit of brake. Here's a few short clips of some slow ones. http://media.putfile.com/vid-006 http://media.putfile.com/vid-00548 http://media.putfile.com/vid-00741
  19. I just wanted to add that Gary has to be the best person I have ever dealt with.I have a bad habit of talking people's ears off and asking a million ?'s, well Gary never cut me short and really knows his stuff. I think he is an aircraft engineer but anyways I received the arms and at first I was a little nervous since it was my first install but it was easy(except the upper arm I wasn't sure if I had it on the right side but on his site there is some good close-up shots of Banshees w/ the arms installed) and they have held up thru some brutal abuse from jumps to trails. even the powder coating has held up strong so far. I was so happy that I went back to Gary and ordered a swing arm. He was very busy and so were the p/c shop but we kept in touch and after maybe a month more than expected I received the swinger and I tell you, once you have one of his products in your hand you will forget about any delays if there were any. Also, i love the adjust-ability but use some (blue) lock-tite cause they will try to work themselves a bit loose.
  20. Find a slight hill on some good ground with traction. I've been practicing slow ones. I've got it mastered on the Blaster to where I can really creep it and even balance at a dead stop but the banshee is harder. I just rev it and pop the clutch keeping my foot near the rear brake. It jumps up so quick when you dump it at the right spot. Then once you find the balance point you have to work back and forth the gas/clutch and the rear brake for when you get too high or past the balance point. It's harder on the Banshee because it comes up so quick and like falling back out of a chair your natural reaction is to grab the rear brake. Far as fast wheelies, just find a good little bump and keep the RPM high (or in the pipe) right before you hit it bring it up and ride it -more gas if she's low -less if your about to bust your ass. I see some people stand up on there grab bar and peg but I only do it when no ones looking. too gangster for my redneck ass, I like the good ole lazy boy style good luck and get someone to take some pictures.
  21. Thanks alot guys, I can always count on you all when it comes down to turning wrenches. I'm so busy right now w/ work I just dropped it off at the local shop plus I'll be honest I'm not too comfortable with getting everything back together and lined up(taking it apart would probably be easy!), but reading up on the clymer's I can see where you guys are heading w/ it. I should get a answer back in the next few days. Hopefully it's not deep by the gears and have to split the cases. I just hope all goes well and quick because the next chance I get to ride I sure don't want to riding the (wife's) Blaster
  22. She's down and so am I. Even if I was too busy to ride it wouldn't be as bad as not being able to. It's a sick feeling. I recently dropped a new clutch in, Barnett with the hd springs, and had to groove my stock basket. Well just recently my clutch had been hanging up, I lubed it up (the cable) but evently it just completly popped out(down at the bottom not at the lever). When I tried to get it back together and readjusted the cable at the lever it seems like it is a inch or two too long. I was hoping I stretched it thinking that the stiffer clutch did it but my friend (who owns a local bike shop and is a cert. mech.) said it looks like we'll be opening her up! Anybody want to take a stab at this one with a guess before I really find out. Thanks in advance.
  23. I had the same problem w/ mine because I had to use the stock ball joints for the tie-rods. The bitches started to spin on me and I was in the same situation. What your gonna have to do is lift the boot up and hang onto the bolt with needle nose pilars or needle nose type channel locks and just snug it up the best you can w/out ripping the boot. Far as not having a hole to slip a cotter pin thru I guess you should get some "loctite" maybe the red type. You def. don't want that coming apart on you when your hauling ass. Goodluck!
  24. About $1000.00 I think the arms were 550 and the shocks were alittle under 500
  25. I didn't have much $ either so I went w/ quicksand 2+1 w/ works dual rate w/ rezzies. Big difference over stock but then again everyone will say that works is not much to brag about but hey I've never ridden a better shock so I'm happy as a pig in shit. ...You might want to check into some package deals also. Goodluck! Nicky
