This is exactly what gary from QUICKSAND was explaining to me. I'm about to order a swing arm from him. If I go with the 1 1/4" will my ac w/ heel guards hit? And does anyone have a pick of a blue quicksand swinger?

Try the rewritable discs.......DVD+RW. I went thru a whole pack of dvd+r trying to learn how to burn some video footage. I'm still learning but maybe try this. On my software I have a option SCANDISC it prepares the disc for burning. Maybe it formats it-I don't really know but it worked for me...goodluck.

Just a guess, Maybe the one that smokes alittle more has a tighter seal than the other. On mine, the clamp that pinches the header to the pipe (1ea.) sometimes works itself loose and makes a mess.

I bought a bearing kit for the front of the swingarm. the needle bearings on both sides were completely gone except for the outter metal linning of the old bearings. I ruined 2 new bearings trying to press them in before I realized it. the metal is so smooth in there it really looked like part of the swingarm. Now I'm in the process of diggin' the old crap out. I've already tried reaming it out w/ a drill and file tip... hope you don't run into this problem and let this be a another example of how important maintenance is!

I just replaced mine, the only problem I had was gettin' the 2nd axle nut loose...some advice and alittle heat worked.

How about something way different than everyone else like a spare wheel, might come in handy. j/k I think that does look pretty clean.

Well I just got a full AC skid for $37 + shippin off ebay. Works great for trail ridin but takes alittle longer to clean up. I would check ebay because it is gonna get banged up real quick, depending on what type of ridin you do. Look for the skids that have the bolts recessed...Goodluck.

Do you think I might of weakined the strenght? I don't want to sell something that might bend or break on him!

Actually no, I guess when I'm ridin my legs/boots are holdin it down and if my ass is off the seat than that means I'm makin alot of noise and havin too much fun to notice. Try it you can always set 2 plugs (whatever they're called that look like plastic bolts w/ larger flexable threads) to hold it yet let you remove it quick.

Just wanted to say thanks for the tip, you say it's better for rear cut fenders but it's fine w/ me and so much easier to clean and work on.

The problem with weed or any other non-legal drug is that it is not regulated like alcohol or cigs (which is a drug also). Once you put a non-regulated substance into your body you really don't know what all is in it. I use to party back in the high school days (grad '90) with a little bit of it all until a got a bad hit of acid, not a good trip but enuff to scare the shit out of me...stuck with the heinekens after that. I feel old saying this but what the youth are gettin into and mixin is real scary especially now that I got 3 kids (3,4 and 6) I don't even want to imagin what will be on the streets when they get old enuff to be confronted by 'em. far as legalizing it I don't think we will because we seem to have enuff lawsuits on things that are already legal...just my 2 cents.

I have to add that I'm 32 and have no problem with younger riders especially if they have an interest in Banshees...since atv's do not get enuff recognition and the Banshee being out-dated and rumored to be a die-ing breed why would anyone want to start to reduce any supporters of either?

What it's worth I think If we all want to chip in why not start with what trades we have to work with. For example, I'm sure somebody on this great site is into printing or silk screens... make up a bunch of cool shirts that we help design and sell back to us... A while back we talked about making/selling calenders... anything for the site to get a cut but the most would probably be from advertising. just my two cents.

I was thinking about trimin' the rear from the bracket, just alittle sweep to knock off the square at the bottom. I've drew w/ a pencil and I like it better if I cut it I'll put some pics up.

Hill climbs, trails, racin'? I guess all around if the Banshee never existed I would of saved my $ up for a yzf450 or a craptor.
