  1. Good job man! I love stories like this -much better than hearing someone in the dumps cause some lazy punk stole their Banshee. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Welcome and thanks for sharing.
  3. Picking this baby up next week! http://www.sandblastermotorsports.com/flatblack.htm OK maybe if my lucky lotto numbers hit before then ...I didn't realize how crazy these bad boys can get
  4. Thanks alot everyone! I guess I'll take my time on this one -seems like another beast that the skys the limit on what you can put into these things and the Banshee is usually waiting first in line when I get alittle spending money. Thanks again. Nicky

  6. The more I look into these the more I want one. Does anyone know a good site that kinda gives you the breakdown of different types/upgrades/what to look for... I would like something pretty fast that wouild be street legal but could take it offroad too. ...Maybe led will chime in and lend me a hand.
  7. Lookin' good! I'd cut the fronts but I'd have a hard time throwin' the scraps away- I'd find some kinda use out of them-trash can lids or something
  8. Check into "blemishes" or "dent/scratch" section to save some cheese.
  9. Well I'm using the shockwears kinda like a vinyl material and even tho I only have works I'm happy they are keeping them clean and I think that if you can keep dirt/mud off of the actual rod of the shock it's gotta be prolonging the life of the shocks. -also makes clean up from a messy ride very simple. hope this helps alittle.
  10. thanks
  11. Everytime I have bought a new set of aftermarket tire/wheels I have noticed that when I get out on a stretch of pavement and really open her up the front wheels wobble. I ride 90% trails so I'm bouncing all over the place and never notice it.Might be a dumb ? but does anyone else have this problem? I installed my a arms maybe I should re-check my camber/caster. I'm sure the big boys like NYUK have to have their wheels pretty true to get the most they can out of the bike to make it quick down the strip. Any advice would be appreciated -has anyone tried to balance their wheels w/ small weights on the inside away w/out interfearing w/ the brakes?
  12. Welcome [my controls], [personal profile] then [edit sig]
  13. I'll keep an eye on you, If the price ever comes down I'll pm you . Anyways here's a bump for you.
  14. That's exactly what I have except my springs are not black. I love 'em and the price was great for my kind of ridin'.
  15. Pm sent on the rotors / hub
  16. Any pics of the bars? Have a price? Maybe interested.
  17. please remember me if you part out. I don't think you'll have any problem selling every last bolt. sweet ride
  18. when I ordered my works they talked me into the dual over tripples -said unless your jumping huge you will never even benefit. I could be wrong but I believe the top red spring found on the tripples is stiff but anyways I saved alittle going w/ the duals and spent the rest to have 'em w/ remote ressies. I think dual is plenty for trail and decent jumping. I noticed a big difference over stock and I have works which is the bottom of the barrell. I can't imagine how sweet a set of real good shocks would be. goodluck and shop around.
  19. NYUK those are way too nice for me to be rippin' thru the woods making new trails like I do and also the sad thing is My Banshee is not worthy
  20. Mainly Lookin for a nice rear set but let's see what's out there
  21. I wonder how many ran out to their shed or garage to dbl check. When I put my arms on I didn't know and had the uppers on the wrong side. There is aslight bend to where the heim threads in also but they should only work one way. dont forget about longer b/lines if your going 2 out / 1 forward.get up on the bumper and make sure everything is ok rather than testing it on a big jump goodluck.
  22. Good enuff excuse to upgrade
  23. Well I've seen a few cr500's so I know that must work pretty damn good. All I know is that I would love to ride one or atleast ride with one -even if I had to eat it's roost
  24. I have a stock swingarm with the carrier still on. everything is fine except the the races of the needle bearing up front pretty much became part of the swinger where it pivots. let me know what all you need. Nicky
