  1. i was out there sat dude.. got there at like 1130 stayed till 4 or so... where were you.. i saw a teal f150 with some dirtbikes...
  2. anyone near or around here wanna go to the track and f off sat april 23rd? tryin to get some quads out there to do some f off racing.. caddo point mx web site
  3. IT HAD 320'S AND A 27.5... HMMM... IF you lower the pilot you must richen the main... if i were ya.. i would have put in that 25 pilot and kept the 320 main.. then see the difference.. one thing at a time will get you better dialed in!! slap in the 320 main and keep the 25 pilot.. go WOT if it bogs.. go down one..... if it doesnt bog at all go to a 340.. if it bogs at WOT then put in the 330 main and she is done..
  4. stock needle is middle clip or 3rd clip from stub end.. pilot is 25.. i ran a 30 pilot in mine and the damn thing wouldnt start so i went back to my 25 and it loves it... i met a few peeps with pc pipes and they've ran 25 or 27.5 pilots.. good luck!!
  5. take off those carbs... turn them sideways to let the fuel out.. then turn em upside down and take the fuel bowl off.. should be 4 screws... you'll notice which is the main jet soon as you take that bowl off.. the size of the jet will either be on its side or at the end that DOES NOT screw into the carb..
  6. stock is bout 200... slap in a 300 see what she does... if your at higher elevation then try a 280 i have pc pipes kn filter pods and a minor port job and im runnin 400 on my stock carbs.... im at sea level stock carbs i supose.. take em apart and see whatcha got in there... try going up 3 or 5 sizes on mains.. keep your stock pilot and needle position
  7. just pipe and a kn filter with stock air box?
  8. yeah good smoke man!! lol... i know you know the heat ratio on your plugs as far as the #'s... so your ok there and if you put in a bigger main... the she will keep pullin instead of it winding out and you wanting it to still keep pullin that main will suck more fuel for the air and get you to top speed before its more gas then air... let me tell you i went from a 210 main to a 400 main... and still needs a larger one... haha.. but you have bigger carbs so dont think yours will jump quit that high... that fast...
  9. i think they go up for that carb by the 5's... so if your at 165 then it would be 170 .175 . 180 . 185 . 190 . .. . .. example: put in the 190... at wot she bogs.. slap in the 180... at wot she doesnt bog slap in the 185... try er again and she should be ok.... or if it bogs on the 180 then put in a 175... but with all that i bet sheeeeeeel like the 185 o 190... i wish i had those carbs!!!
  10. i'd go up 5 sizes on the main then if it bogs... go down 3 sizes if doesnt bog .. go up one and should be ok...
  11. depends on what mods you have...i would rejet.. what size mains you have?
  12. im just north of fort worth... but i always take the drive to tha east since that seems to be the only place where ther are quad catering mx tracks... i went out to greenville to the www.mx-compound.com and it was pretty fun.. just opened last weekend..still needs some work do you know of that part # for the needle you speak of?
  13. im changin my gearing for 2 things... 1. i spin on the track through 3rd 2. i will gain on the straight when i jet to 6th gear not runnin on the track i def do think i need bigger carbs.. i slapped in a 410 and still no bog what so ever.. haha i have jets up the wazooooo now... hey sredish i see you live in whitesboro, you going out to that track in ector on may 7... quadzombie mx track?
  14. i am runnin 20" mxr's and a bigger front sprocket... if the track is slippery i run a even bigger sprocket.. hooks up really well.. i like it!!!... i diditn want to spend the money on a -2 swinger
  15. well i went out to www.mx-compound.com and i liked it.. wouldnt say loved it but i liked it only cuz they had some pretty good clearable jumps and there wasnt too many people out there... but they opened prematurely and are supposed to increase riding areas and tracks.. im headed back out there april 23 or 24th
  16. yeah i checked that tube and its there... i'll put a new one on incase its cracked carbs are in sync... just put in fresh new pilots, but will check for specks of dirt (i need to get a inline fuel filter)... then i will check for airleak around the intake vforces... thanks ya!!!! and dune/tune girl.... keep up the good work on keeping yourself up to par on tunein !!!!
  17. you can run 93 octane but it will run like a snail and pop and just backfire at times.. no bueno
  18. ONLY IF YOUR ABOVE 160... SAFE IS 160... 165 UR PUSHIN IT... (SORRY FOR THE CAPS)
  19. DAMN THATS PRETTY GOOD FOR NY... thought its would be around 3 bucks..
  20. well i think its more octane wise and not race gas... race gas is actually leaded fuel which sheeeeeeee's love... a higher octane around 100 and above is what will be needed... and no you cant use octane boost... the reason you run 50 50 is so the 93 can mix with lets say 110 and you get an average of 101. i just run 115 always leaded..i dunno of they make high octane unleaded..
  21. this isnt hard at all.. you can find the how to on www.bansheezone.com i believe thats the website.. it has pictures and everything for ya.. good luck took me maybe an hour to do the whole thing and i took my sweet time cuz i had a 6 pack and just fiddled around
  22. i almost bought a 20cc dome and david at noss head asked if i was going to advance my timing, and said if so then i needed to run atleast 50/50 pump race... i am at around 500 above sea.. i decided to go with 19cc and just call it a day and run the race fuel since prices around here are getting within 2 bucks for 93 octane to 115 octane ... i felt it was worth it..
  23. ok so i fire the she up and she runs.. but my right side cylinder doesnt blow out the exhaust like the left side unless i give it some rev's up then at higher rpm it will fire.. i think it runs better at that higher rev since i am making the spark fire more often.. anyways, she runs fine around the track and has lil bog at the low end then screams and i have to hold on... she doesnt backfire or anything to that nature... i've played with the air screws the idle screw. could this be a air leak.. i just installed a vforce 3 and didnt put sealant around the gasket and thought i didnt need it since there was none really on the stock cages... but now im am thinkin there is a ir leak possibly...
