  3. saw my freinds crosser a few weeks ago and hes done this snakeskin/reptile effect allover,looks real smart,i thought it was airbrushed on but it aint! basicly hes painted a base coat black,then got a few pairs of his favourite fishnet stockings(maybe i should re-phrase that to his wifes favourite!) layed em over the surface pulled nice and snug over the top and taped to the back of the fenders,then put a nice kawa green over the top,fcukin mint!!!! excellent finnish.i try and get some pics of it 4 u. seeyaz...
  4. hiya lads,just wanted to know whos usin -2 swingarms for tt racin,im havin problems gettin off the line with my +2!! (yes i know +2 is useless for tt,but i use her on the street too ) so im gonna shorten my original one,how much better is the hook up with a -2? can someone(s) post apic of there -2 swingers,from the side too please cos i wanna look how much shorter shee is with one,thanks loads,seeyaz
  5. yes ive heard that there is a difference but ive not tried both short and long reach adaptors,if u cant find a long reach adaptor just cut an old plug up and weld it to your existing one,try a reading with the short one and then with adapted one,i would be interested to know too on how much difference there is.dont forget do comp test on cold motor with WOT.seeya

  10. shit hot m8,thankyou and everyone else very much,have u got a real close up of the moving parts and how its fixed to the clutch? have the weights a progressive "sliding" edge or "staged" if ya know wat i mean? are they comp round or do they put even more pressure at high rpm,bit like a scooter 2 speed variator,dont know if im explainin gud enough?
  11. yeh i know id just as well buy one but,i gotta work awhole week to afford that, im a bit sick of ordering stuff from the states to find that its damaged/badly made/overpriced or never turns up at all and to be honest im skint,if i can get dimentions then i will have a lot of satisfaction in making my own,"improvise adapt and overcome" why buy what i can make? so any help u guys can give me would be much appreciated.thankyou.
  12. hi there,i want to make my own lock up clutch,but im not exactly sure how they r workin,what i need is a couple of real close up pics and maybe some measurements,thickness and type of materials.id be real greatfull if someone would take the time to help me,thankyou.
  13. im runnin an electrex and after many many different combinations of set up have found that the best way is to run one power output in conjunction with the lights (dip and high beam) and the other to a diode(kind of reg rec) and then to charge me battery which runs side lights,brake lights,indicators,speedo and horn,i run a 5 amp battery,and after thousands of street miles have had not one problem wiv it. cost here in england is

  19. does it make any difference to where you place the reed block spacers? ive got 36mm mikunis and wondered where you guys put the spacer,ie:- reed block then spacer or vise versa? thanks guys :thumb:

  21. the propper way is to hold the throttle "wide open" at the same time as u kick it,that way u get a correct reading.seeya.
